2006: Started all 17 games he appeared in as a junior…tied for team lead in starts and ranked second in strikeouts (79), third in innings pitched (102.0), tied for third in wins (seven), and fourth in ERA (5.03)…tied for second in Conference USA in starts while ranking fi fth in innings pitched, eighth in strikeouts and tied for 11th in wins…posted a 2.72 strikeout-to-walk ratio and a 6.97 strikeout-per-nine-inning average…tossed fi rst career at Memphis (3/25) when he scattered nine hits while walking one and striking out a pair in a 7-1 Green Wave win…went at least 7.0 innings six times and did not allow an earned run on three occasions…posted fi ve or more strikeouts seven times, including a season- best nine in 5.1 innings against UCF (4/15)…off the diamond, was a member of the Conference USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll and Tulane’s 3.0 Club.

2005: Appeared in 20 games as a redshirt-sophomore, including 11 starts…ranked second on the team in strikeout-to-walk ratio (4.82), third in ERA (4.42), saves (two) and strikeout-per-nine average (8.23), and fourth in wins (eight), strikeouts (82), innings pitched (89.2) and opponent bat- ting average (.278)…fi nished sixth in Conference USA in wins and eighth in strikeouts…posted fi ve-plus strikeouts on eight occasions, including a season-high 11 in a 6.0-inning start vs. McNeese State (2/15)…held opponents without a hit twice and without an earned run on seven occa- sions…in nine games and 24.1 innings of relief, had a 1.85 ERA, a win, 20 strikeouts and fi ve walks…named Louisiana Pitcher of the Week after earning the win at LSU (3/8) in a 5.0-inning start and picking up the vs. Cal State Fullerton (3/13) with 3.2 innings out of the bullpen…off the diamond, was a member of C-USA Commissioner’s List, the Dean’s List and Tulane’s 3.0 Club.

2004: Appeared in one game in relief as a sophomore before injuring his arm and having surgery…received a medical redshirt…in lone appearance of the season at UNO (2/17), struck out four and gave up just one run on one hit and a walk in 2.2 innings of work…off the dia- mond, was a member of the Conference USA Commissioner’s List and Tulane’s 3.0 Club.

2003: Appeared in 18 games as a true freshman, including seven starts…his two wins both came in a starting role, and Tulane was 5-2 in games he started…limited opponents to one or fewer earned runs on six occasions, including four games without allowing an earned run…struck out four or more batters four times, including a six-punchout day at Southeastern Louisiana (3/19) when he earned his fi rst career victory after allowing two earned runs on fi ve hits in 5.1 innings with no walks…also got the win in a 6.1-inning start against Cincinnati when he gave up fi ve runs on 12 hits in 6.1 innings of work…did not allow a walk on 10 occasions, and issued a just four times in his fi nal 40.2 innings…longest outing of the year came in game three of the UNO series (5/13) when he struck out four and walked one in 6.2 innings of work…away from the fi eld, earned C-USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll recognition.

Summer Ball: Played for the Falmouth Commodores of the Cape Cod League in 2003 and 2006…in 2003, saw action in 11 games as a reliever, tallying an 0-2 record, a 5.87 ERA and 14 strikeouts in 15.1 innings…in 2006, ranked second on the team in appearances (16), including two starts, posting a 2-2 record and a 3.62 ERA in 32.1 innings…led the Commodores with a 3.07 strikeout-to-walk ratio after fi nishing second on the club with 43 strikeouts while issuing just 14 walks…limited opponents to a .244 batting average.

High School: Three-year letterman at Durfee High where he saw action on the mound and at shortstop for coach Glenn Chatterton…for his ca- reer, hit .425 with 14 home runs and 83 RBI while compiling a 19-5 record with a 1.66 ERA and 287 strikeouts in 194 innings…helped the Hilltop- pers to three consecutive playoff appearances as a prepster…earned Big Three League MVP honors and was named to the all-state team as a junior and senior…as a senior, tabbed Massachusetts Gatorade Player of the Year after hitting .506 with fi ve homers and 33 RBI while tallying a 0.97 ERA, 112 strikeouts and just 18 walks in 65 innings…off the diamond, was a member of the National Honor Society and the Business Club, and received the Williams College Book Award.
