Welcome to the City of North Bay’s Industry Showcase The City of North Bay has a diversified economic base that provides its products and services to the global marketplace.

The significant presence that industrial companies have in North Bay is often overlooked, as although capital intensive, these companies occupy small footprints and are located throughout the community.

This showcase is intended to provide a sample of some of the exciting businesses located within the walls of the buildings that we pass by each day rather than advertise their products or services.

If you have one to share, please contact the Economic Development Department at [email protected] The Corporation of the City of North Bay

North Bay is “Open for Business” and the increasing number of new commercial and industrial facilities opening certainly proves that. North Bay is a beautiful, safe and diverse community of 54,000 residents, serving a regional catchment area of 112,000 people.

Whether it is the $550 million North Bay Regional Health Centre, the development of the $6.5 million Waterfront Park project or the development of the new Airport Industrial Business Park, North Bay has become a leading community of progressive growth and development.

In addition to the support services offered through the Economic Development Office, the City’s Planning Department has an established DART group (Development Application Review Team). The group is a one-stop assembly of all required planning and building staff members to effectively identify development and construction requirements and processes. This system has been a proven winner for the City and continues to make doing business in North Bay that much easier.

I invite you to experience North Bay first-hand; the clean air, beautiful scenery and many amenities. This City truly is a community like none other and you’ll easily see why more and more companies are making North Bay home.
