THE AT BAM, MARCH 17-18, 1984

BAM's Series, directed by Scott Nickrenz, will present THE BEAUX ARTS TRIO on March 17 and 18, 1984.

THE BEAUX ARTS TRIO will perform the Haydn Trio No. 18 in A Major, the Shostakovich Trio in E Minor, Op. 67, and the Beethoven Trio in B Flat, popularly known as "The Archduke . "

THE BEAUX ARTS TRIO enjoys equal fame on both sides of the Atlantic. Since its debut 28 seasons ago, the Trio has been acclaimed by critics and audiences alike and has played more than 4000 engagements throughout North America. The Trio has appeared frequently in BAM's Chamber Music Series.

Each member of the trio--pianist , violinist Isidore Cohen, and cellist --has an active solo career, including recital and orchestral engagements throughout Europe and America.

The concerts, held in BAM's Lepercq Space, are on Saturday, March 17 at 8:30pm, and Sunday, March 18 at 2 : 00pm. Tickets are $7.00.
