In her two campaigns with the Blackbirds, Del Preore’s players have earned four All-NEC honors (one Second Team, two Third Team, one All-Rookie), three NEC weekly awards, two wins against St. Francis Brooklyn in the Battle of Brooklyn, and joined the 1,000 Point Club (Shanovia Dove in 2016-17) while going 15-44 in two seasons. The Pirates won 20 games in Del Preore’s first season in 2013-14, and earned the program’s first postseason berth in nearly a decade. The Pirates earned a national ranking in the Associated Press Top 25 poll for the first time in almost 20 years in 2014-15, ascending to No. 23 in the country after a 70-51 victory over No. 14/16 Georgia on Dec. 28. Seton Hall went 28-6 overall and 15-3 in BIG EAST play in 2014-15, earning a spot in the conference tournament finals and garnering individual honors along the way. Guards Ka-Deidre and Daisha Simmons were First Team All-BIG EAST selections, with Daisha
