WOBL/WDLW SCHOLARSHIP GUIDELINES & APPLICATION 2021

PURPOSE – To provide a one-time $1,000.00 Scholarship Award to a student from Lorain County, pursuing a career in broadcasting.

QUALIFICATIONS – Must be accepted into a program for broadcasting, whether at an accredited college, university or technical school for broadcasting.

APPLICATION PROCESS – Candidates should submit:

A thoroughly completed scholarship application, including a short essay indicating why they should be chosen for this scholarship.

Applications must be received by April 16th, 2021 to be considered for the award.

AWARDING OF SCHOLARSHIP

WOBL/WDLW staff shall review all applications and determine the recipient of the scholarship by April 23rd, 2021.

Scholarship recipient shall be notified by mail of the award ($1,000.00).

Scholarship award will be sent directly to the appropriate school to applied toward tuition cost.
