Whether you know your neighbors or not, National Night Out is one night a year for neighbors to connect while strengthening ties with local law enforcement. On Tuesday evening, August 4, Coralville neighborhoods are invited to take part in the 32nd annual National Night Out. The Coralville Police Department invites neighborhoods to get together and host block parties on August 4. The block parties give neighbors a chance to meet through simple potlucks, backyard barbeques, or a neighborhood event that involves music or kids’ activities. Neighborhoods are encouraged to host a party in a way that best suits their neighborhood. Represen ta tives from the Coralville Police Depart ment, Fire Department, and City Council will attempt to visit each registered party. National Night Out is a way for neigh -
