Situation update: 1.1.The situation in the Northern part of the country is under control. Evacuated people are returning to their . 1.2.In the Shtefan Voda the water level does not decline. The situation in 8 : Talmaza, Cioburciu, Rascaieti, Purcari, Olanesti, Crocmaz, Tudora and Palanca remains still difficult. In the Southern part of the country along river ( district) the water level is continuosly rising (30cm/day). About 42 houses in 3 villages are threated by flood. 1.3.In the Shtefan Voda region 229 persons (rescuers, militaries, carabinieers), 45 vehicles and in the Cahul region approximately 20 vehicles are working on strengthening of the dikes, which are still in danger. 2. 6. Response co-ordination. 6.1. With a view to providing a coordinated response to the stricken nation’s requirements, nations in a position to meet these demands, in full or in part, are invited to reply to the Operational Point of Contact of the Stricken Nation, with an information copy to EADRCC, by any of the communication means listed above and below. 6.2. The EADRCC is in contact with the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UN-OCHA) in Geneva and exchange information with EU MIC. The EU MIC is heavily involved in managing the consequencies in the stricken country by facilitating offers of the EU member states, which are listed above. In addition, the EU MIC has dispatched an expert team to Chisinau to facilitate the incoming European assistance, liaise with other partners and help the Government to identify further needs. 6.3.
