The onset of the global pandemic caused by the COVID-19 outbreak has caused great distress across the world. From our perspective, it has meant that the Olympic Games scheduled to be held in Tokyo, Japan from July 24-August 9, 2020 have been postponed for the first time in history. While there is no doubt that the right decision was made, this postponement has led to a drastic shift in momentum for all our athletes who were in the ‘home stretch’ of their preparations.
