Emergency Order No. 01-11-19 2 October 1, 2019

JUSTIFICATION:

Aerial surveys conducted in 2013 and 2016 indicated this area could support a harvest of two goat points (a billy = 1 point and a nanny = 2 points). Hunting pressure and harvest in this hunt area has been low for the last few years, but two billies were harvested the last week of September. Due to the vulnerability of goats in this area, and because the guideline harvest level has been met, an emergency order (01-11-19) is being issued to close the goat hunting season in this area at 11:59 pm on Wednesday, October 2, 2019, closing this area for the season.
