POH Indifference and brusqueness fail to subdue those who are permanently attuned to His Word and transfixed on Him; thus focused on Him, they eagerly await His realization within. Seeking His shelter and surrendering to Him unreservedly, one profits spiritually; one meets and follows the true Guru, bearer of the Divine torch, and by singing His Praise (livings one's life by Divine Will) one neutralizes the attacks of Maya and succeeds in pursuing the 'straight and narrow path'. Gracious Lord literally grasps the hand and pulls such an individual closer; thus joined, His devotee never separates from Him again and remains truly absorbed in Him. Dedicating one's one hundred thousand lives will not fathom Him for He, my friend, is truly transcendent. Seeing such a supplicant at His door, says Nanak, 'He has to be gracious and save His devotee's honour'. Whosoever the carefree Lord grants His Grace, realises all comforts and bliss.

On 26 December 1705, Fateh Singh and his elder brother, Zorawar Singh were martyred at Sirhind. Fateh Singh is probably the youngest recorded martyr in history who knowingly laid down his life at the very tender age of 6 years. The young Sahibzada and his older brother, Sahibzada Zorawar Singh are among the most hallowed martyrs in .

captivity The mind boggles to understand how children of such young age had the guts, courage, bravery and focus to refuse the promise of many lavish gifts and a future of cosy comforts of royalty that were being offered by the Mughals. All they had to do to get all these luxuries was to abandon their religion. The young children were asked to weigh an easy choice against the stark option of a brutal, painful and tragic death entombed within a wall of bricks and cement.

Santhya classes - Lucky are those who recite

Even luckier are those who understand the Gurbani they read. Fortunately help is at hand. Santhya classes are held on Monday’s 4.30pm to 6pm when Gurbani is explained grammatically together with its intended meaning. Why not avail yourself of this privilege.

Humble request – Millions of followers / of Dev ji are living in India known as Sikligar, Vanjare, Satnam Sikhs and Panthy Sikhs. Most of them are living much below the average living standards and face problems of being perceived as low castes. This is a great injustice and saddening news. British Sikh Council in UK has been working for the last 12 years to help them to obtain a basic living standard by helping with housing, putting water pumps, school buildings, building and distributing clothes, We have volunteered to collect in December only, good quality clean used clothes to send to them.So if you would like to donate your old clothes please bring them to the . Thank you.
