Personal Information

Nationality: Portuguese

Research Interests My main research focuses on the study of the high redshift Universe. I study the Universe, in a period ranging from the cosmic “dark ages” to the present day, using multi-wavelength observational data sets. I am particularly interested in the potential of the Tomographic Line Intensity Mapping technique to probe the Epoch of Reionization and to constrain the properties of the first galaxies and their evolution over cosmic time. In addition, I want to explore the potential of the Intensity mapping technique to probe the interconnection between galaxies and the IGM.
