Chinese pianist Rixiang Huang is the gold medalist of New York International Artists Piano Competition and is praised by audiences and critics for his superb artistry and passionate, charismatic performance style on four continents. Mr. Huang's performances have earned high accolades of audiences and critics alike. The Voice of North Carolina wrote of his performance "... As an immersive and versatile soloist, Mr. Huang has performed extensively all over the world in prestigious venues such as , Alice Tully Hall at the , England White Rock Theatre, Spain Santander Palacio de Festivales de Cantabria, Domo de la Universidad de Panama, Japan Hamamatsu ACT Concert Hall, Indonesia Aula Sinfonia Jakarta, China National Center for the Performing Arts, and the Beijing Concert Hall. Additionally, Mr. Huang has appeared as a guest soloist with orchestras around the world including Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, China National Symphony Orchestra, Indonesia National Symphony Orchestra, Chautauqua Music Festival Orchestra, Eastern Music Festival Orchestra, and Cuarteto Quiroga. He has worked with such pre-eminent Maestros such as Jac Van Steen, Joel Smirnoff, Earl Lee, Eric Garcia and Gabriel Laufer. His performances have been broadcast by Classic FM, WCLV, China Radio, International and Radio Online Indonesia and Corporación de Radio y Televisión Española.

Mr. Huang has been a featured artist at Bowdoin International Music Festival, Chautauqua International Music Festival, Art of the Piano at the University of Cincinnati, Piano Texas, Piano New Paltz, and Pianofest in the Hamptons. He has performed in master classes with , Stephen Hough, John Perry, Dimitry Bashkirov, Veda Kaplinsky, Dimitry Alexeev, Vladimir Ovchinnikov, and many other world-renowned pianists and pedagogues. As an avid chamber performer, he was selected to participate in the Advanced Piano Trio Program directed by cellist Sharon Robinson of the acclaimed Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson Trio.

The laureate of many prestigious international piano competitions include top prizes in Hastings International Piano Concerto Competition, Dallas International Piano Competition, New York International Artists Piano Competition, ASEAN International Concerto Competition, Virtuosic International Piano Competition and Jacob Flier International Piano th Competition. He was also the semifinalist in 19 ​ Santander Paloma O’Shea International Piano ​ Competition.

Mr. Huang is currently pursuing a Master of Music in Piano Performance at The Juilliard School, where he is studying with legendary pianist Jerome Lowenthal and Matti Raekallio. Previously, he worked with world-renowned pianist Antonio Pompa-Baldi and Paul Schenly at The Institute of Music, where he was awarded the Arthur Loesser Memorial Prize for outstanding achievement in piano performance.
