New platform and options have caused the increased 5.6 - Withdrawal Refund update (Becky) -Cheques will be written out this year by Becky. 5.7 - Len Williams Memorial grant – how to use the $1000 towards coaching development in our District? -No ideas as of right now. If we use the $1000.00 this year we would get an additional $1000.00 next year -Phil asked Dave about any ideas from SHSAA on how to use this funding Ideas: -Put it for one person who would use it for PD -Use it for the coaches symposium -School divisions to use it for PE 20/30 students to take NCCP coaching courses **Conversation with Jackie Williams about the COVID 19 and not being able to use the funds. They are aware about the situation and moving forward as is for next year with the funding model 6. Correspondence 6.1 – - No correspondence 7. All in favour - carried 7.2 Officials Commission – Phil Guebert - See officials report for details Things to note: - Basketball clinics well attended in both towns (Rosetown – 9, Outlook – 10) - 4 senior basketball conferences - Official development – two clinics in general moving forward – wondering about online - Youth official’s clinic cancelled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic Phil moves report as read, second Aaron, All in Favour - Carried 7.3 SHSAA Report – Al Wandler our SHSAA Section 1 rep - Grad letters to be emailed to schools as a PDF to be put in Grad Packages Curling: - Issues at Regional curling with practice order and colour of rock – executive to look at - Provincials at and Gull Lake next year Wrestling: - Regionals Hosted by PA St. Mary - boy’s numbers down, girls consistent - Provincials -Boys numbers consistent, girls increasing -next year regionals at Churchill (), Provincials Regina (hopefully U of R) Basketball: -Conferences well run -Regional/Hoopla suspended due to sanctions Other Info: -CIAAA conference – cancelled due to COVID-19 -Badminton cancelled for 2020 – Covid-19 – shuttles will still be sent out to host schools -Executive meeting – May 24/25 - Track & Field cancelled – Legion contacted SHSAA to inform that all of their camps cancelled as well -AGM is online format – June 25 -Coaches symposium has been cancelled -Continue to follow Health guidelines -Update school info on EXNET -School sport week Oct 11-17 -Coach Ed – RIS staying consistent – Free of charge through Sask sport, -Concussion awareness – change – Making Headway will be the new course. If you took the old course, you will be grandfathered in. - Fundamentals of coaching for community coaching to be changed to redefining winning – Fundamentals of coaching courses will be grandfathered in. Provincial Assignments for 2020-21 -Loreburn/Davidson – 1A girls volleyball -2021-2022 – 3A girls soccer & 1A boys volleyball are WC -Provincial Golf/Curling is Open AGM: - Position Opening for Section 1 - Election happening at AGM - Hoping to not have resolutions this year as there is no way to debate and vote as we have in the past. - Award recipients to be done (hopefully) at Dec. Pres meeting in 2020 7.4 Winter Activities 7.4.1Jr. Basketball (pg. 7) Boys: Host: - Commissioner: Shari Gebhardt Winner: Kindersley Girls: Host Site: – Commissioner: Lloyd Tulp Winner: Kindersley Concerns: Only 3 sections have teams.

• Do we need to change the Sectional playoffs? • Or keep it as 3 section winners and a wildcard • Should we have a host and 3 section winners/reps? • Date for Districts? Move back to a Saturday? Discussion on questions: - Suggestions for playoff format: Seeding form to determine the 4th team Phil makes a motion to continue with the sections currently. If one or two sections does not have a team for districts, a wildcard will be determined by using seeding forms used by Junior basketball teams throughout the basketball season. Commissioner is generally in this position for junior curling. If they wish to bring someone in, they will incur the costs. 7.4.3 Sr. Curling (Pg. 10) Host: Outlook – Commissioner: Shannon Stephenson Winners: Boys: LCBI Girls: Rosetown Mixed: Rosetown Concerns: - Number of teams per school - Conflicts - 7.4.4 Regional Curling – Rosetown - Mixed and Girls. Outlook – Boys

• Payment of host and facility – SHSAA gave $250 per host site for facilities and $175 per host site for officials. (Executive voted in favour of matching the amounts for both hosts Amount of Senior curling teams per school. They can register as many teams at their pre- district/district tournament. The district is responsible for determining how many teams a school can enter curling. Are there rules set out for sectional play? – Davidson committee to be structured to determine curling rules?? Added to bylaws - Shannon to lead the committee – reach out to curling experts in our community
