La WWE a annoncé lundi à Raw que le groupe de rock ZZ Top succèdera à Seth Green la semaine prochaine dans le rôle de Guest Host de l'émission de la division rouge. Hell in a Cell, c'est officiel Comme annoncé il y a quelques semaines, le pay-per-view WWE No Mercy s'appelle désormais "Hell in a Cell", évènement où les main-events (pour les titres mondiaux) seront donc des combats "Hell in a Cell". MAJ sur le retour de Edge Pour l'instant, la WWE ne se prononce pas sur le retour d'Edge et compte au contraire lui laisser le temps de rééduquer correctement son pied, pour une durée d'au moins six mois. Si à l'heure actuelle, le PPV Royal Rumble est souvent évoqué comme date de retour, la WWE pourrait créer un effet de surprise en faisant revenir Edge plus tard, dans le but de mener une feud pour Wrestlemania... en tant que face. Match ajouté à Night of Champions Lors des enregistrements de Smackdown, il a été annoncé que Dolph Ziggler affrontera Rey Mysterio pour le titre Intercontinental à WWE Night of Champions. C'est sur ces paroles d'Indochine que Chris Jericho aurait pu faire son speech lundi à Raw, lorsque la moitié des champions par équipes a annoncé être en quête d'un équipier pour succéder à Edge. C'est dans cette optique que Y2J a tenté de flatter Mark Henry, en vain, preuve que le World Strongest Man est en phase de faceturn. Vous remarquerez que c'est à Raw que Jericho intervient en tant que champion par équipes. Du beau monde à RAW Ce lundi, Billy Kidman était en coulisses avec plusieurs talents en développement de la FCW, à RAW. Plusieurs talents ont d'ailleurs travaillés sur le ring avant le début de l'émission. MaCaulay Culkin, star du film Home Alone, était dans la foule, tout comme l'ex-lutteur de la WWF Haku. Vince va parler Le 6 août prochain, une réunion des actionnaires de la WWE aura lieu, présentant les résultats financiers de la compagnie. Pour y accéder, il faut acheter au moins une action de la WWE, pour quelques dollars. Par téléphone ou sur place, tous les actionnaires pourront poser leurs questions à Vince McMahon sur la stratégie financière du groupe mais aussi des questions plus axées sur la lutte : il y a quelques mois, lors d'une réunion du même type, Vinnie Mac' avait évoqué la Winning Streak du Taker à Wrestlemania. Rey Mysterio démasqué au Japon! Chris Jericho aura à nouveau réussi à démasquer Rey Mysterio lors d'un combat pour le titre Intercontinental à Tokyo, au Japon. La version japonaise du site Yahoo! Edge: lutteur le plus actif à la WWE Un fait intéressant sur Edge pour continuer puisque la Rated-R Superstar était le lutteur le plus actif à la WWE en 2009 avant sa blessure. Il a effectué un total de 105 combats cette année (47 victoires, 55 défaites et 3 matchs nuls), ce qui est 10% de plus que le lutteur classé à la seconde place de ce même classement. Rating de Raw Le Raw du 13 juillet a recueilli une côte d'écoute de 3.5 : un score en berne par rapport au 3.6 d'il y a une semaine mais surtout au 3.9 de la storyline Donald Trump. Le buzz autour de Seth Green provoqué par la WWE n'a donc pas recueilli l'effet escompté. Un dark-match 100% FCW En dark-match de Raw, Sheamus a battu Drew McIntyre. Les deux anciens champions de la FCW s'étaient déjà affrontés pour le titre de la fédération de développement le 11 décembre dernier. Eugene de retour ? Nick Dinsmore, connu également sous le nom d'Eugène à la WWE, semble être de retour à Stamford. L'ancien champion par équipes aurait été engagé dernièrement par la fédération pour s'occuper des jeunes lutteurs de développement. Dinsmore avait été licencié en septembre 2007. Mark Henry dans la cour des grands à RAW Selon la pré-carte d'un gala de RAW qui se tiendra le 19 juillet à Florence, en Caroline du Sud, Mark Henry sera aux côtés de Triple H et John Cena pour affronter Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes et Ted DiBiase dans un combat par équipe. C'est en partie la raison pour laquelle la WWE souhaite booster au mieux le nombre d'achats de leurs PPVs.

Colorado Department of Transportation DRB FINAL RESOLUTION BACKGROUND Colorado Project No. STA 0404-044 15821R, “Removing Asphalt Mat on West Colfax Avenue and Replacing with a new Hot Mix Asphalt Overlay”, was awarded to Brannan Sand and Gravel Company on August 11, 2008, for $1,089,047.93. The contract incorporated all Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) Standard Specifications and Project Special Conditions, including, Standard Specification 109.06: Standard Specification 109.06 Partial Payments. CDOT will make partial payments to the Contractor once each month as the work progresses, when the Contractor is performing satisfactorily under the Contract. Payments will be based upon progress estimates prepared by the Engineer, of the value of work performed, materials placed in accordance with the Contract, and the value of the materials on hand in accordance with the Contract. Revision of Section 109. In September 2006, CDOT, CCA (Colorado Contractors Associations), and CAPA (Colorado Asphalt Pavement Association) formed a joint Task Force at the request of CAPA to evaluate the need for an asphalt cement cost adjustment specification that would be similar to the Fuel Cost Adjustment that was currently being used by CDOT. The result of the Task Force effort was the revision of Standard Specification 109.06 to include the Asphalt Cement Cost Adjustments Subsection. Honey, Master of Science Utah State University, 2020 Major Professor: Dr. Eric César Morales Program: American Studies This paper examines the shifting portrayals of Pacific Islanders in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) across three generations. As both a popular and historically racially problematic venue, WWE’s politically incorrect programming has played an underappreciated and under examined role in representing the USA. Although 4 many different groups have been portrayed by gross stereotypes in WWE, this paper uses the family of Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson—the Samoan Dynasty—as a case study. The WWE originally presented Pacific Islanders using the most offensive stereotypes, and the first two generations of the Samoan Dynasty had to “play Indian” or cosign onto gross representations of their people to be recognized by American audiences unfamiliar with representations of Pacific Islanders.

    Child Support Department Opens July 6 in Bradford Avenue Location HE CHILD SUPPORT ENFORCEMENT OFFICE located in Eutaw Village Shopping Center Tclosed Tuesday, June 29, as the agency’s operations transfer from the state of North Carolina to Cumberland County effective July 1. On July 6, the county’s new Child Support Department will open for business on the third and fourth floors of the Mental Health Center’s facility at 109 Bradford Ave. During the time the office is closed, clients can call 910-486-1092 or 1-800-992-9457 for information or assistance. Child support agents work closely with the court system, which sees about 1,500 to 2,000 new cases each year. To assist in the transition from a state-run to a county-operated department, the court system canceled child support court for about a month. Held two days a week, child support court will resume on July 14.
