Side Missions Faq GRAND THEFT AUTO 4 SIDE MISSIONS FAQ These missions are not important or needed to progress in the story but you need them to achieve 100% completion. You can access these missions by fulfilling certain requirements in the storyline, they can access and played in any order and any time. Completing all the side quests contributes 40% towards 100% completion, so if you need the achievement then you need to bang your head with all the things listed below. Enjoy. ASSASSINATIONS After completing ‘Truck Hustel’ for Phil, you’ll get a call telling you to go to the payphone. Head to the payphone and you’ll meet a guy named, Fixer, who gives the locations of your targets. Your task is simple – travel to the location and carry out the hit. There are around nine targets waiting for you to come and kill them and yes they are very easy to get as long as you use your brain and stay alive without getting busted. i. BAILING OUT FOR GOOD – Your target is resting in the local police station and will leave in a while, go to the spot and wait for him to come. Then draw out your sniper and put a bullet in his head to complete the mission, if you don’t have a sniper then use your RPG and blast his car when he enters. ii. DEAD DROP – The target is currently escaping in a car, you can either chase after him and paint his car with bullets or use your head and take a taxi to get to the spot before he does and kill him along with his buddies, the second method worked for me so it’ll work for as well. iii. DERELICT TARGET – Annoying missions which’ll make you scream and yell because of the number targets inside the building. You need to kill three marked targets, who are pathetically guarded by armed body guards. Snipe out as many as you can from outside the building and fill your bag with some rifle ammos, you’ll need them… in loads. Enter the building and be prepare for an all out shooting and get some cover for ass, take out guards patrolling in the first floor and move to the second, look for the targets and take them out as soon as you find them. Once the building is cleansed and painted, drag yourself out of the area to complete the assassination. iv. HOOK, LINE AND SINKER – Get yourself a car or take a taxi ride and get to the spot. Once there, it’ll become apparent that the target is in a boat and you’ll be instructed to chase after and kill him. If you are lazy like me then equip your sniper and hit him in the head to complete the job. v. INDUSTRIAL ACTION – At the beginning level of the mission, you’ll be instructed to kill three targets dwelling in the Acter industrial area. But as you get closer to the spot, it’ll be changed to killing all the flies living inside the building. Climb upstairs and get yourself a vantage point from where you can take out as many guards as you can with least damage, if you are running low on sniper ammo then use a rifle. Blow the guards patrolling then snipe out the remaining in the area, use a RPG or a grenade if you are having trouble sniping all of them. vi. MIGRATION CONTROL – The target is about to leave in a helicopter near Booth Tunnel, drive to the spot and you’ll see the chopper is about to take off. You can either blast the chopper preventing the target from entering and then kill him or wait for him to enter the helicopter and blast it before it takes off. vii. R.U.B DOWN – Drive to the spot where the deal is going on and you’ll see the bikers hanging out near their bikes. Wipe out your rocket launcher and fire two-three rockets at a time to blow up their bikes, this’ll kill most of the dealers and prevent the survivors from escaping. viii. TAKEN OUT – Another RPG assassination. Drive ahead of the target and stop your car where you are sure to get a clear shot. Then draw out rocker launcher and blast the car to complete the mission. ix. WATER HAZARD – Drive to the spot and gift the target a sniper bullet. Mission Accomplished. CAR THEFT After you finish ‘Smackdown’ for Derrick, you’ll get a call from Steve asking you to send him some vehicles for some healthy cash. He’ll randomly drop you a message, which you need to read in order to start the mission. The cars are GRAND THEFT AUTO 4 scattered all over Liberty City and I DON’T KNOW where they are to tell you, you’ll automatically get a notice telling you find one of Steve’s wishlist. Steal the marked vehicles killing whoever inside/near it and take it to his garage near the docks to complete the mission. Remember you to access his emails and reply to them to trigger the mission, if not then no missions no rewards. FRIENDS Do all the activities with each of your friend and unlock their special abilities. i. Brucie – A helicopter will come and take you wherever you want. ii. Dwayne Forge – He’ll send you a car full of gangsters as back-up. iii. Little Jacob – He sells guns and ammos at discount. iv. Roman Bellic – A taxi will instantly come and take you wherever you want. v. Patrick McReary – He’ll send you a time-bomb to your current location. Note: Roman and Dwayne are not included in 100% completion. GAMES Beat your friends or computer in blowing, darts, pool and Qub3D and achieve the highest score. MOST WANTED CRIMINALS Call 911 and choose 1 to call the cops, wait for them to arrive and steal their car. Lose the wanted level and hack into their computer to find the most wanted list containing a list of 30 most wanted criminals in Liberty City. Find them and waste them to get 2.5% completion. i. Basically they are beat up some guy missions, where you need to find and waste the target/targets. There is no restriction like you need to use Jacob’s whacked vehicles. You can use whatever suits you and complete the mission however and whenever you want. PIGEONS 200 pigeons = 2.5% completion… seems so unfair don’t you think. We have to go through hours of gameplay finding and killing them all we get is 2.5% completion. Blah. Besides it doesn’t seem right to kill animals, I don’t like the concept. RACES If you manage to complete mission ‘NO. 1’, Brucie will offer more races which can be accessed through your cell phone. Pull out you phone and call Brucie, choose jobs to trigger the races in which of course you have place first and win. RANDOM PEDS There are fourteen characters excluding Cherise, Clarence and Ivan, whom you might have killed in the storyline will leave you with eleven. Meeting these characters will trigger a cut scene, where they’ll ask you to do some simple favors like escorting them somewhere, picking up packages or dealing with someone who are troubling them. Completing all eleven’s favors will net you 5% completion. Go to www.wahttheydonotwantyoutoknow.com for a map, remember they are available only completing certain missions in the storyline. i. BADMAN a. First Encounter – You can meet Badman near Harrison Street. He asks you to help him kill some drug dealers, who are causing him trouble. Get inside a car and drive him to the spot, use the wall as cover and kill the dealers to complete the mission. GRAND THEFT AUTO 4 ii. BRIAN a. First Encounter – The first encounter takes place near Roman’s old depot in Broker. Approach Brian to trigger a conversation, which’ll end netting you $100. b. Second Encounter – After your first meeting, Brian has developed an addiction to drugs and asks you to drive him to his apartment so that he can collect his drugs from the dealer.

Peneliti berusaha mencari tahu kekuasaan, otoritarianisme dan bentuk-bentuk penindasan yang direpresentasikan di dalam Anime One Piece. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori kekuasaan milik Michel Foucault. Metode yang digunakan ialah metode kualitatif deskriptif dan memakai analisis narasi struktural milik Vladimir Propp. Proses penelitian berawal dari pengumpulan data berupa scene yang menayangkan cerita Tenryuubito, kemudian dilanjutkan ke tahap analisis data dan interpretasi data. Hasil yang didapat kemudian disajikan secara deskripsi kualitatif kemudian ditarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa One Piece tidak hanya menjadi sarana hiburan semata akan tetapi di balik jalan ceritanya yang luas terdapat unsur-unsur dunia nyata yang direpresentasikan di dalamnya seperti kekuasaan dan otoritarianisme. Kedua hal tersebut melekat pada tokoh Tenryuubito yang digambarkan sebagai salah satu penguasa di dalam dunia One Piece.

Volume 14, Issue 1 May 2017 Access and the construction of fan identity: Industry images of anime fandom Lucy Miller, Texas A&M University, USA Abstract: Access to content is a concern for many American anime fans, who view themselves as responsible for attracting content from Japan. In this context, American anime distribution companies have constructed two images of anime fandom: disciplinary and participatory. The former focuses on fans self-policing for the economic success of the industry and the latter positions the company and the fans as equals in a shared community. The online discourse of two anime distribution companies, FUNimation and Crunchyroll, are analyzed for the ways they rhetorically construct these images in order to persuade fans to support the economic success of the industry. Keywords: access, anime, fandom, identification Anime distribution companies in the United States have long sought ways to persuade the niche audience(s) that exists for anime and related fan interests to purchase their products. A look at anime advertisements in the magazine Animag from the late 1980s to early 1990s reveals heavy use of text describing the VHS tapes the anime series and movies were available on, pictures of the tapes themselves, a short blurb about the series or movie, and a small picture of a character or group of characters (O’Mara, 2010). This style of advertising would be familiar to fans of comic books, sci-fi novels, and model kits who might be interested in anime as well. A dedicated anime fandom was not the focus at this time of the industry’s advertising efforts, but magazines in the late 1990s and early 2000s, such as Animerica and Newtype USA, show a shift in advertising strategy to featuring large, glossy pictures of the characters that were meant to attract the attention of anime fans who are assumed to be heavily invested in those characters and the elements that make them up (for more on the relationship between fans and characters, see Azuma, 2009: 53).
