They say that when you give back, you gain so much more. This rings true for De La Salle alum- nus Joseph Parente, Class of 1984. A prominent personal injury trial attorney and founding partner of Parente & Norem, P.C., a private law firm prac- tice in downtown Chicago, Joe has been actively involved in supporting his alma mater and rais- ing the bar for his fellow alumni to give back to ’D.’

Over the past couple of years, Joe has returned to campus and attended several of the special events at the Institute. He has volunteered his time to connect with classmates dur- ing his 25th Anniversary in 2009. Joe has also personally given to his Anniversary class gift.
