FOX SPORTS LOADS BASES FOR 2014 MLB ALL-STAR GAME

Multiple FOX Sports Platforms Combine to Give Mid-Summer Classic Most Comprehensive Television Coverage Ever

New York – FOX Sports has been home to 15 Major League All-Star Games since broadcasting its first in 1997, and over the years has brought countless memorable moments into the homes of baseball fans across the country. This year, with the addition of , America’s newest sports network, to platforms already including FOX, FOX Sports Regional Networks, , FOXSports.com, FOX Sports GO and FOX Sports Radio, FOX Sports’ coverage of the Mid-Summer Classic includes more than 25 hours of MLB original programming, more than ever before.

This season’s MLB All-Star Game broadcast is the most technically advanced in history, continuing the network’s 20-year tradition of offering its audiences the latest technical, graphic and audio innovations. , a seven-time Emmy Award winner, provides play-by-play for a record 16th All-Star Game, alongside analysts and , both calling their first. MLB on FOX insider and FOXSports.com senior baseball writer and broadcaster offer reports from the field. Reynolds and Verducci shared the honor for Outstanding Sports Personality – Studio Analyst this past spring. FOX Sports also took home Emmy Awards for the (Outstanding Live Sports Special), the 2013 ALCS (Outstanding Playoff Coverage) and for MLB on FOX’s Live Event Audio/Sound.

Game day coverage of MLB’s 85th All-Star Game begins Tuesday, July 15 at 4:30 PM ET on FOX Sports 1 with a special three-hour edition of AMERICA’S PREGAME before moving to the broadcast network at 7:30 PM ET. Pregame festivities on FOX are anchored for the first time by with analysis from Hall of Famer and five-time All-Star Frank Thomas and World Series Champion , also newcomers.

Now armed with FOX Sports 1, a national multi-sport channel, FOX Sports is able to cover the All-Star Game more thoroughly than ever before with special, expanded editions of MLB WHIPAROUND, AMERICA’S PREGAME (live from Minneapolis) and FOX SPORTS LIVE on Monday, July 14 and Tuesday, July 15. In the run up to the game, the channel also re-airs two classic All-Star games from yesteryear: the 1999 game in Boston, noted for its salute to Hall of Famer Ted Williams and Pedro Martinez’s record-setting MVP performance; and the 2001 game played in Seattle which saw Hall of Famer Cal Ripken Jr. homer and take home MVP honors in his All-Star farewell. The two specials titled, ALL-STAR GLORY, feature commentary from FOX Sports anchor Ryan Field and former MLB Luis Gonzalez, a five-time All-Star and World Champion who played in both memorable games. On Saturday, July 12, FOX Sports 1 sandwiches MLB on FOX game action with the premiere of two one-hour All-Star game-related specials: MLB ALL- STAR GAME MAGIC, highlighting the top All-Star Game moments (2:30-3:30 PM ET) and MLB ALL-STAR GAME SNEAK PEEK, previewing this year’s Mid-Summer Classic (7:00-8:00 PM ET), both produced by MLB Productions.

The 2014 MLB All-Star Game streams online for the first time on FOX Sports GO, the app that provides live streaming video of FOX Sports content at home or on the go, and FOXSportsGO.com (see details below), and airs in Spanish on FOX Deportes with Pablo Alsina and Jose Tolentino on the call.

In addition to the television screen, FOX Sports presents in-depth coverage from Target Field in Minneapolis online and over the radio. Rosenthal and FOXSports.com baseball writer Jon Paul Morosi lead the digital coverage with the latest information and in-depth features, while FOX Sports Radio’s Steve Gorman SPORTS! is live from All-Star Fan Fest on Tuesday, July 15 from 3:00-6:00 PM ET.

FOX Deportes Coverage of the 85th MLB All-Star Game begins on FOX Deportes on Tuesday, July 15 at 7:00 PM ET with a special edition of Central +, followed by the pregame show featuring special interviews and reports from Los Angeles with Francisco X. Rivera. Play-by-play announcer Pablo Alsina joins Jose Tolentino to call the action live from Target Field.

FOX Sports GO FOX Sports GO, the app that provides live streaming video of FOX Sports content at home or on-the-go, offers a live stream of the MLB All-Star Game for the first time on July 15. Customers of participating video providers may access the live stream through the FOX Sports GO app. FOX Sports GO is currently available for iOS devices, including iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad, and Android devices. The app can be downloaded for free from the iTunes App Store and Google Play. FOX Sports GO is also available on desktops through FOXSportsGO.com and on some Windows devices.
