Leegate Shopping Centre and other town centre sites will deliver new genuinely affordable homes and workspace. Reducing the dominance of vehicle traffic at the main junction, will allow further improvements to public space in the town centre. The River Quaggy, near Lee High Road, will be revealed as a more prominent feature connected to the town centre with improved riverside settings and views to the water. Walking and cycling routes will be better defined to connect key routes, public open spaces and key destinations as part of East Lewisham Links.
