[Monografia] / PaedDr. Martin Pupiš, PhD. - Univerzita Mateja Bela v Banskej Bystrici. Fakulta humanitných vied, Katedra telesnej výchovy a športu, 2009, 93 s. Sledovania boli uskuto čň ované prostredníctvom merania pulzovej frekvencie v pokoji, merania telesnej teploty, sledovaním telesnej hmotnosti a sledovaním prítomnosti vybraných katabolitov v krvi (kreatinkináza, urea). [Monograph] / PaedDr. Martin Pupiš, PhD. - Matej Bel University, Banska Bystrica. Faculty of humanities, Department of physical education and sport., 2009, 93 p. Monography solving the training system as well as stages of the human organism during and after the 20 km and 50 km competition loading of the race-walkers. The work observe their impact on the training and sport performance in order to create appropriate training program for the period after the race on 50 km. Observations were realised by measuring heart rate in the quiescent condition, the body temperature, body weight and monitoring the presence of selected catabolites in the blood (creatine kinase and urea). In first part of the research we found that even in the race on 50 km, it is very important to find correct tempo in the first 10 km. In the next chapter was created optimal training plan consider observed physiological coefficients and subjective feelings during the training intensity . For a consideration were ranging anaerobic processes till 11 days, so after the return of the organism into the quiescent condition. The result of this training program is better process of recovery and follows better sport performance. In the fourth chapter we found that it is no negative contraindications of 20 km and 50 km of top sportsmen – race walkers. Key words: Race walking. Performance. V tomto období získala trojica Pribilinec, Blažek a Mrázek prvé medaily z európskych a svetových šampionátov.

But Matsunaga was race walking even faster and had closed the gap to two seconds, while China’s Zelin Cai decided to protectively cover the two men in front of him and had pushed hard to remove himself from the pack. This remained the state of affairs until Wang, a much more fluent and elegant race walker than his teammate, made his decisive bid for glory with three kilometres to go.

Address: RUNNERS WORLD, 598 High Street, East Kew, Victoria (Melways 45 G4) Telephone: 03 9817 3503 Hours : Monday to Friday: 9:30am to 5:30pm Saturday: 9:00am to 3:00pm Website: http://www.runnersworld.com.au/ TIM'S WALKER OF THE WEEK Last week's Walker of the Week was Claire Tallent who took all before her in winning the Women's 20km championship in Hobart in an Olympic A qualifying time of 1:32:58. This was the only A qualifier done on the day in the horrendous conditions and it was her third win in a row in this annual championship. This confirmed her Olympic spot and was a dominant display. This week, I am going to balance the equation and announce my walker of the week as Jared Tallent. Jared and Claire flew out on the Sunday morning after their heroics in Hobart and both contested 20km races a week later in what was a big weekend carnival of walking in Chihuahua in Mexico – and both were successful, earning silvers in their respective events. Jared fought it out with Eder Sanchez of Mexico, taking silver in 1:21:50 while Claire fought it out with Portuguese walker Ines Henriques, also taking silver in 1:33:21. You can read about both their performances later in the newsletter. Jared and Claire with their second prize cheques in Chihuahua, along with Satoshi Yanagisawa (photo from Satoshi) MORE WALKERS ADDED TO THE AUSTRALIAN OLYMPIC TEAM With the Australian T&F Olympic Trials completed last weekend in Melbourne, Athletics Australia has now released the names of the next group of Olympic selections and the walkers are to the fore.
