Workington and District Amateur Musical Society (WADAMS)

My Presidential Year progresses at pace and as I write I am preparing to represent you all at the Annual Conference of our sister organisation, the Association of Irish Musical Societies, which signals that I am three- quarters of the way through my year.

What a year it has been so far! From the rigours of trying to get home from Yorkshire through the snow to outstanding sunshine in Manchester and sea fret in Norfolk. Whitstable had to be at its coldest for my visit to the South East Conference but the welcome was warm and the smiles broad.
