©2016 Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix, Inc. WELCOME RACE FANS

Thank you for choosing to Start Your Summer at the 2016 Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix. We are looking forward to a very exciting weekend on track as we welcome back the Verizon IndyCar Series, the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship and the SPEED Energy Stadium SUPER Trucks presented by TRAXXAS to the Raceway at Belle Isle Park. We are also pleased to add the Trans Am Road Racing Series to our 2016 lineup. For the fourth consecutive year, we are proud to once again host TWO races from the Verizon IndyCar Series on back-to-back days at the Chevrolet Dual in Detroit presented by Quicken Loans. Our event remains the only “doubleheader” on the series schedule in 2016 and we couldn’t be more thrilled to share the beauty of our international riverfront with Detroit and Windsor taking center stage on ABC-TV both Saturday and Sunday. We want to make sure that you get a chance to experience all the terrific entertainment and activities off the track as well. The Meijer Fan Zone has something for everyone with interactive displays, games and the Sports Zone, featuring local Detroit sports teams. The MotorCity Casino Hotel Entertainment Stage will once again host live music all weekend long featuring local and national acts, including Detroit’s own The Romantics on Saturday evening and Morris Day and The Time on Sunday afternoon. We appreciate all that Chevrolet and Quicken Loans do to make this special event possible and we want to thank the 70-plus companies and partners represented here at the Grand Prix this weekend. The continued success of the Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix is a credit to them, along with our dedicated volunteers and, of course, all the great race fans here at Belle Isle and those watching at home on TV. The Grand Prix has continued to make lasting improvements at Belle Isle Park and we are proud to be a part of the revitalization of the island. Continuing to work closely with our partners at the State of Michigan and the Department of Natural Resources, we are excited to help this jewel of the Motor City shine brightly this weekend and into the future. We encourage you to enjoy all the beauty of Belle Isle, have a great time at the Grand Prix and we ask you to please visit our website at DetroitGP.com in the coming days to let us know how you enjoyed your experience. Sincerely,

Bud Denker Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix Chairman

2 DEAR RACE FANS

On behalf of General Motors and Chevrolet, I’d like to welcome you to Detroit and to Belle Isle for another great weekend of motorsports action.
