Re: TC Keni Situation Report No 28 as at 0800 Hours – Thursday 12 April 2018
This situation report is to advise of the status of FRA’s assets due to the effect of TC Keni:
Vunisea Jetty causeway in Kadavu washed out yesterday.
Roads closed at various locations on Nabukelevu-I-Ra Road and Namara Road in Kadavu
Kings Road is reduced to a single at Naveiveiwali in Tailevu. FRA Contractors are on site clearing flood debris.
Naqali Flats on Sawani Serea Road is now Open to traffic
Kings Road is reduced to a single lane at Dama in Rakiraki
Queens Road is fully OPEN to all traffic
FRA is urging the public to stay off flooded roadways. Please do not drive into water of unknown depth and current as this can be life threatening.
