15 KIDNEY DIALYSIS FOUNDATION ANNUAL REPORT 2016/2017 My husband and I live in a one-room fl at. We do not have children; it’s just the two of us. He used to work as a HDB block cleaner until quite recently as his eyesight is no good now and his legs are very weak. I let him accompany me for my dialysis sessions as “I am worried to leave him alone at home. We don’t like to bother others so we already applied and are now waiting to get into a nursing home. But for now, I am still getting my dialysis at KDF and I am thankful for donors who have lent a helping hand to patients like me, so we continue to be by the side of our loved ones.
