TRANSPORT If you plan on using the local public transport system, Translink, it is advisable to purchase a GoCard. The GoCard is purchasable online, at the airport or at a number of Brisbane newsagents and retailers. You can load money onto the card and use it to travel on all Translink services.

Getting to UQ St Lucia from Brisbane Domestic

Train and bus Catch the Airtrain from the Domestic Airport to Roma Street Train Station. Alight at Roma Street Train Station and walk to Roma Street Bus Station, Platform 1, and catch the 66 Bus. The 66 goes straight to UQ Lakes Bus Station, which is 20 minutes walk from Emmanuel College.

Taxi The Taxi ranks are just outside the domestic & international terminals. The estimated fare is about $60 depending on day, time & traffic. If you are travelling directly to Emmanuel College, ask for Emmanuel College at the University of Queensland (not Emmanuel College at the Gold Coast).

Uber Check the signage for the Uber pickup point (and click on our map) An Uber costs about $50AUS; fares will be affected by the time of travel and tolls.

Buses There are a number of bus services from the surrounding railway stations that will take you to Emmanuel College. From Toowong Station, you can catch the 411/412. From Indooroopilly Station you can catch the 428. Please check the timetables for frequency and stopping pattern.
