If it wasn’t happening before our eyes, this Kansas City Royals dream season would be impossible to believe. C’mon. The small market, basement-dwelling Royals going against the big, bad San Francisco Giants in the World Series? Sounds like a movie script straight out of Hollywood.
Which got us thinking. This incredible, unlikely underdog story needs to be turned into a big screen flick. Like a Moneyball meets Major League meets Lost in Translation (Welcome back, Sung Woo!) hybrid. And when that day comes, we’ve got the perfect cast ready to roll.

Alex Gordon and Matthew Lillard may as well be the same guy. Plus, Lillard has played a ballplayer before in a movie. Other than that, I dig it!

Oliva Wilde needs to be in the mix.. she was at Royals World Series game in a KC jersey also.. Put her in the role of the “low talking” Fox sports game announcer that acted like they interrupted a moment during game 2.. maybe a love interest of Sun Woo Lee … which could be played by K Pop Star Psy.. Gangum style LOL

I think Amaury Nalasco looks so much like Hoz, especially when the sun is in Hoz’s eyes. Although Amaury is not quite nearly as tall as Eric. I like the thought of Captain America playing A1.
