Construction for the Nyngan Solar Plant will start this month. A Community Consultative Committee (CCC) has been established for the project. It consists of 10 members who represent various groups of the Nyngan July 2014 community. Establish grid connection The purpose of the CCC is to help strengthen the community engagement process and provide a direct link between the local community and the AGL project team. January 2015 The first CCC meeting was held in November 2013. An estimated 300 direct construction jobs will be created to support the plant’s construction and more jobs are expected to be created indirectly in restaurants, May 2015 hotels and local businesses.
