Subsurface Exploration Land/Off Shore Vineyard Wind, New Bedford (Off-Shore): (Apr 2018-Jul 2018) Lived on the Dina Polaris for ~3 months 14 miles off the shores of Martha’s Vineyard as the client representative and kept track of work progress as well as interpretation of 104 total CPT drilling operations, beginning and correcting for, approximate seafloor bed ranging in penetration depths to ~40 meters, noting depths of clamp slips, and interpretations for future foundation designs of various foundations for individual wind turbines for a future off-shore wind farm using bearing capacity, cohesion and pore pressure. Attended nightly safety meetings and weekly coordination meeting. Also held daily work briefings for work continuity. Veterans Terminal, Charleston, South Carolina: (Apr 2011-Jun 2011) provided boring inspection for preliminary coastal bulk wall design along shoreline collapsed by overburden. Rock coring performed in the Newburyport Complex consisting of tonalitic granodiorite and granite. Drum Island, Charleston, South Carolina: (Jan 2013 – Feb 2013) provided boring inspection on independent land to be used for drudging spoils on a massive channel widening project for the South Carolina State Port Authority. Consolidated Rental Agency Center, Logan Airport, Boston: (Mar 2008-Nov 2008) Provided boring inspection for preliminary and final foundation design for this four-level, five-thousand-space parking garage. Harvard Allston Science Center, Allston: (Jun 2009 – Aug 2009) assisted manager in review of peer reviews on risk analysis for a stop work order for a three-level underground parking facility that had minimum diaphragm and permanent walls in place. Green Line Extension Project, Cambridge, Medford, and Somerville, Massachusetts: (Nov 2009-Aug 2017) Responsible for organization of data, calculations, and finalization of proposed project’s Geotechnical Data Report. Amtrak Baltimore & Potomac (B&P) Tunnel, Baltimore, Maryland: (Jul 2018-Sep 2018) responsible for supervision and implantation of a geotechnical subsurface investigation program; and a final ground assessment including ground/rock classification for future proposed tunnel site. Port of Miami Tunnel, Miami, Florida: (Nov 2015 – Mar 2016) Provided support and technical expertise for DRB hearing to successfully defend against multiple claims. During construction phase, supervised field activity as a client representative to ensure contractors followed environmental protocols. RIPTA, Providence Rhode Island: (Feb 2018-Apr 2018) Responsible for setting up and implementing geotechnical inspection program and determined scope of work for bid and hiring of contractors and lab services. Inspected drilling operations and logged all bore holes both in the field and data entry. Prepared geotechnical data report, developed overall profiles and provided final recommendation to establish spread footings as the foundation of choice.
