WEST AREA COMMITTEE – 22 October 2009 Item 4(2)

Introduction There are two parts to this document – section 1 lists the schemes to be delivered in the current financial year and section 2 provides details of the schemes to be considered for the 2010/11 programme.

It is anticipated that, unless otherwise stated, the schemes listed in section 1 will be completed by the end of this financial year. The rolling programme of Vehicle Activated Signs has been underway since the beginning of June. Item 1.9 shows progress on maintenance schemes (re-surfacing and re-construction) throughout the District.

The schemes shown in section 2 have been submitted by Parishes and Councillors in previous years and the lists now include requests that have been put forward during this financial year. These schemes will now need to be assessed and ranked by preference by each Area Committee for inclusion in the 2010/11 programme.

The appendix to this document provides updates relating to Highways issues raised at previous meetings of the West Area Committee.
