Director of the Fralin Museum of Art at the University of Virginia, Bruce Boucher studied at Harvard, Oxford (Rhodes Scholar), and the Courtauld Institute of Art, before teaching for over twenty years at University College in the University of . From 2002-2009, he was curator and head of European Sculpture, Decorative Arts, and Ancient Art at the Art Institute of Chicago. Recipient of several distinguished fellowships in the United States and abroad, he has focused his research on Italian Renaissance and Baroque art and architecture and, more recently, art historiography of the 19th century in the German-speaking world. Lenore Miller has been Curator of the George Washington University’s Permanent Collection and Curator of The Dimock Gallery since the early 1970s. She has curated hundreds of exhibitions and coordinated many more. She documented the permanent collection of contemporary Washington area artists for KPMG Peat Marwick in Washington, D.C., and curated the first exhibition held at the National Building Museum on the metalwork of Samuel Yellin. She is associate professorial lecturer at the George Washington University in the Department of Fine Arts and Art History and a freelance writer for various art publications, which have included ARTnews, KOAN, Camerawork, New Art Examiner, Metalwork, Washington Review of the Arts, and Washington Print Club Quarterly.
