Largest Korean Linux System Integrator Switches to and Begins Joint Effort to Develop the Korean Business Market OREM, UT-July 30, 2001- Caldera International Inc. (: CALD), the global leader "Unifying (r) with Linux(r) for Business(tm)," today announced it has signed a strategic alliance MOU with LinuxKorea Co. Ltd., Korea's largest Linux system integrator, to cooperatively develop the enterprise Linux market in Korea. LinuxKorea chose to work with Caldera after reviewing Caldera's unifying strategy on UNIX and Linux for Business. As terms of the agreement, Caldera and LinuxKorea will collaborate in system integration, consulting and application development for Caldera's OpenLinux(tm) and Open UNIX platforms. Caldera and LinuxKorea's first step will be to create a Linux support center that will serve as a support portal for the two companies. In addition, they will plan co-promotion and co-marketing activities with other Linux-based solution venders to promote Linux to the Korean enterprise market.
