1 A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT elcome to the 2017 Ripon College baseball season. Visiting Ripon in person is the best way to experience what this private liberal arts and sciences college in Wisconsin has to Woffer. Ripon’s residential atmosphere and the learning that occurs here – both in and out of the classrooms – makes it a true learning community. Community defines Ripon. Our personal approach to education, student/faculty relationships, small classes, residential nature and liberal arts and sciences focus all help set us apart, but none of it works without a town that supports the College and a college that supports the town. Our mission statement includes a commitment to a “richly personalized education.” At Ripon, that means a degree of faculty and staff interaction beyond our students expectations. It means students designing their own major, or working side-by-side with a professor on a research project. It means getting involved with people who share similar interests, or starting a new organization. Above all, our students know they have a high degree of flexibility and choice throughout their college journey with us. I was first attracted to Ripon because of its strong national academic reputation and its adherence to and constant focus on the relevance of a liberal arts and sciences education. I was won over by the people I met here, and I think you will be, too. Nothing can compare to setting foot on our beautiful and historic campus. Come sit in on a class, experience a play, enjoy a recital or thrill to an athletic competition. Our door is open. We welcome you.

Go Red Hawks!
