The Collaboration is taking a collaborative approach to catchment planning but on a smaller scale focusing on the Moonee Ponds Creek management unit.

Improvements cover areas of governance of fragmented management responsibilities, the need for collaboration, improving water quality, protection of environmental values, daylighting and naturalising the concrete channel along the creek as well as flood and stormwater management. Recognition of and non indigenous cultural heritage in artworks can connect people to nature and culture of the entire catchment from Greenvale to Docklands.
