2019-7-1 Approval of Agenda: It was moved by Geoff Kettel and seconded by Karl Frank that the proposed agenda be adopted. Passed.

2019-7-2 Minutes (Notes) of Last Meeting (2019 Report No. 6, Oct. 25, 2019) It was moved by Alex Grenzebach and seconded by Mary Ann Cross that the Minutes (Notes) of the Oct. 25, 2019 meeting be received. Passed.

2019-7-3 DELEGATIONS AND PRESENTATIONS None.

2019-7-4 Panel Directions/Initiatives 7.4.1 Area Planning – North York District 7.4.1.1 Laird in Focus Study (Ward 15) The staff report on the Cultural Heritage Resource Assessment (CHRA) recommends listing of three properties: 96 Laird Drive 180 Laird Drive 20 Research Road North York Community Council (NYCC) at its November 5 meeting recommended City Council approval; the item is on the November 26, 2019 City Council agenda. http://app.toronto.ca/tmmis/viewAgendaItemHistory.do?item=201 9.NY10.3

7.4.1.2 Crossing Study (Ward 16) The batch listing report which recommends 16 properties for listing (reduced from 19 properties recommended in the CHRA) is coming forward to Preservation Board (TPB) on December 3rd, 2019.

Motion to send a letter of support for the heritage listing of the Don Mills Crossing properties. Moved by Karl Frank, seconded by Alex Grenzebach. Passed

7.4.2 Willowdale Neighbourhood Design Guidelines (Ward 18) No update.

2019-7-5 Site Specific Items 7.5.1 Ward 6 York Centre 7.5.1.1 134 Sanddringham Drive The listed Tudor Revival style house in Armour Heights, which was built in 1932, is for sale. https://www.blogto.com/real-estate-toronto/2019/09/134- sandringham-drive/

7.5.2 Ward 8 Eglinton-Lawrence 7.5.2.1 - 744 Duplex Ave. (Snider Farmhouse) No update.

7.5.2.2 592 Oriole Parkway (Willowbank) A local landmark, it is very important in terms of the history of because: 1. It was James Leslie's property 2. The Gartshores farmed and built the house 3. It was the clubhouse for the Eglinton Hunt Club prior to the opening of the new clubhouse at Roselawn and Avenue Rd. in 1924. Furthermore, Willowbank Boulevard derives its name from the estate. The house is included in Estates of by Liz Lundell, and in Don Ritchie's North Toronto.

The motion to support a nomination for heritage listing was moved by Alex Grenzebach, seconded by Mary Ann Cross. Passed.

7.5.2.3 Re-naming of Eglinton Park A request for a report on the Feasibility of Re-naming Eglinton Park to Tom Longboat-Cogwagee Park is on the agenda of City Council on Nov 26, 27, 2019. http://app.toronto.ca/tmmis/viewAgendaItemHistory.do?item=201 9.MM12.15

7.5.2 Ward 15 Don Valley West 7.5.2.1 150 Laird Drive - Alterations to a Designated Heritage Property and Authority to Enter into a Heritage Easement Agreement This item was on the Toronto Preservation Board agenda on November 12, 2019, was recommended and is on the NYCC agenda for December 3, 2019.

7.5.3 Ward 16 Don Valley East 7.5.4.1 The Villages of Don Mills Karl Frank is doing research on these.

7.5.4.2 – 844 Don Mills Road and 1150 Eglinton Avenue East Anne-Marie Branch updated on her request for review of the heritage assessment in light of ICOMOS heritage guidelines released in 2014.

7.5.4.3 1299 Don Mills Road – Alterations to a Designated Heritage Property and Authority to Enter into a Heritage Easement Agreement City Council adopted the staff report recommendations on October 29, 2019 without amendments.

7.5.5 Ward 17 Don Valley North 7.5.5.1 Renaming of Woodsy Park Lane as Ethennonnhawahstihnen' Lane The request for City Council to grant an exemption to its Street Naming Policy and approve the renaming of "Woodsy Park Lane" to "Ethennonnhawahstihnen' Lane" was recommended by NYCC on October 10, 2019 and approved without amendments or debate by City Council on October 29 2019.

2019-7-6 Administrative Items 7.6.1 Panel Financial Report Members were reminded to submit any expense reports ASAP.

2019-7-7 Other Business 7.7.1 2018-2022 Community Preservation Panel Appointments Further update and discussion on process and time frame for recruitment of new members. Mary Ann Cross offered to follow up with other Panels regarding the eligibility status of the existing Panel membership.

7.7.2 Cultural Heritage Resources Guide Ministry of Heritage, Sport, Tourism and Culture Industries announced their decision not to publish the 2017 draft guide of A Guide to Cultural Heritage Resources in the Land Use Planning Process.

7.7.3 Heritage Toronto: 7.7.3.1 2020 Tours Deadline for submissions is December 2, 2019.

7.7.4 Community Heritage 7.7.4.1 2020 Membership Motion to renew membership in CHO for 2020. Moved by Mary Ann Cross, seconded by Karl Frank. Passed Noted that the 2020 CHO conference is on May 28-30, in Markham, Ontario
