Until further notice, boys between the ages of twelve and sixteen will be received on board the "MOUNT EDGCUMBE", if sent by the Magistrates………
That is found begging and receiving alms, or being in any street or public place, for the purpose of so begging or receiving alms.
That is found wandering and not having any home or settled place of abode, or proper guardianship, or visible means of subsistence.
That is found destitute, either being an orphan, or having a surviving parent who is undergoing penal servitude or imprisonment.
That frequents the company of reputed thieves.

Ordered: 25th January 1943 as a LOCH Class Anti- Submarine Frigate
Laid down 24th April 1944
Launched as CAWSAND BAY at Blyth on 26th February 1945
First RN ship to carry this name completed on 13th November 1945.

1945 November 13th Build completion commenced Acceptance Trials. 1945 December Completed trials and storing took passage to Clyde to carry out weapon calibrations. 1 9 4 6 February Passage to Rosyth. Sustained damage in Collision
Passage to Portsmouth to Pay-off and reduce to Reserve . HMS CAWSAND BAY remained laid-up in Reserve at Portsmouth until 1958 on the Disposal List. Sold for demolition to an Italian ship-breaker September 1959. Slide 88

HMS Fisgard
HMS Bellerephon, Temeraire and Indus 1904

TWO SHIPS:
HMS Fisgard a 44-gun fifth rate frigate (orig. French Résistance) captured 1797 and sold in 1814.
HMS Fisgard a 46-gun fifth rate frigate built in 1819 and sold in 1879 after serving as a training vessel at Woolwich.
After, she was sold in 1879 she was replaced by other vessels:
HMS Audacious was Fisgard from 1904 to 1914. HMS Invincible was Fisgard II from 1906 to 1914. HMS Hindustan was Fisgard III from 1905 to 1920. HMS Sultan was Fisgard IV from 1906 to 1931.
The facility moved to Torpoint in 1940
Operational until 1983, when it was merged with HMS Raleigh
