Membership The closing date for club membership this year is fast approaching. New members and those who still wish to renew their membership should note that all outstanding monies must be paid to either Club Secretary Mary Daly or Treasurer Raymond McKeown before the end of this month. The fees are £25 for adults and £5 for youth. The club will be closing its membership on March 31st and the committee will not be accepting any offer of payment after this date.

Senior & Youth Team News Moy seniors entertained Armagh side Wolfe Tones last Sunday in a friendly fixture. The men from Derrymacash were to provide Moy’s opposition the week previous in the last round of group fixtures in the Ulster Senior League. However, the game was postponed and, with both teams just missing out on qualification from section C of this competition, they decided just to go ahead and play each other in a challenge match. Just for the record, a severely weakened Moy lost to Wolfe Tones last weekend on a scoreline of 2-6 to 2-7. Moy minors will open their league campaign next Wednesday evening (29 March) with a home tie against Aghaloo at 6.45pm. The Tir na nOgs will be competing in Grade 3A in the Under 18 league this season alongside Aghaloo, Moortown, , Stewartstown, , and . Meanwhile, in the preliminary round of the Under 18 Championship, Moy have been drawn against Drumragh. An Under 16 Registration Evening will be held in the Tir na nOg Clubrooms this Friday (24 March) starting at 7.00pm. All members of this year’s Moy U-16 squad and anyone else interested in playing juvenile football for the club are requested to attend. Moy Under 14s have already played two rounds of fixtures in Grade Three of the Tyrone League. Having lost their opening match at home to on a scoreline of 2- 3 to 5-2, the Sky Blue boys travelled to last weekend hoping to pick up their first league points. However, at the end of a thrilling encounter, it was the Loughmacrory lads who won by a narrow margin (2-10 to 2-8). Moy’s brave U-14 squad has two more league fixtures in the week ahead. They play host to Stewartstown this Saturday (25 March) at 12.00pm and then travel to Rock next Tuesday (28 March) for a game that will commence at 6.45pm.

Ladies Notes All ladies footballers are reminded to register before Friday 31st March. No monies will be accepted after this date. Meanwhile, training continues for under 12, 14, minor and senior players at the usual times and venues. It is important that all girls attend training. Any player unable to attend should contact their respective coaches.
