It will also be called “Savage Seven.” I planned my event very quickly and with little notice, so I imagine that Cheryl will draw a much bigger field.

After finishing my three loops I came out onto the road for the last 1.7 miles, still up and down, but the last maybe .2 miles was downhill to the fin- ish. I was able to run strongly, thanks to all the walking up hills. I greeted early finisher friends, including Debbie, who had switched to the 60K and finished in just over seven hours, and Nancy, who had run a strong marathon.
