Ashay Stephen (Assistant Director) is a 4th-Class Cadet taking part in his first Sandra Cassie Dudas Bluebards show. In high school, he was a cellist in several orchestras, but he always wanted to get into theater. He enjoys hiking, the beach, and eating. Dean Hyde Will Rayner Abby Stout (Asst. Director) is a 3rd-class cadet taking part in her first Bluebirds show. In addition to Bluebards, Abby is a member of the USAFA mountaineering Sheriff Earl Jelani Washington team and CRU. She enjoys creative writing, reading, and being outdoors. One of Will’s favorite memories was taking a “Teddy Bear”/“Hound Dog” (Chad, Sandra, Dennis, Natalie) phone interview with Senator Gary Peters' team for a USAFA nomination during intermission of It's A Wonderful Life! He is so excited to perform in his first USAFA Scene 6, Sylvia’s honky-tonk show! “Love me Tender” (Chad) Julia Rochester (Director) is a 2nd-class cadet taking part in her sixth Bluebards “Love me Tender” (reprise) (Natalie) show. She has performed in Bluebards’ productions of All My Sons (Ann Deever), Scene 9, Outside the shoe store Richard III (Lady Anne Neville), and A Christmas Carol (Sarah). She also served as the asst. director on two Bluebards musicals: West Side Story and The Music Man. “Blue Suede Shoes” (‘Ed’, Chad, Dennis, Ensemble) Julia is a member of the club volleyball team and Navigators. Scene 11, Main St. “Can’t Help Falling in Love” (Company) Sophie Serage (Ensemble) is a freshman from Tulsa, Oklahoma. She is excited to make her show-stopping debut in Bluebards and is grateful for the people it has brought into her life. Candace Henderson (Ensemble) is a freshman from Sacramento, CA, who is double-majoring in Computer Science and Cyber Science. Though this is her first Bluebards show, she is very passionate about the arts, having choreographed and danced in 5 Dancin' Feet Feat Fete shows at her high school in Roseville. She also led the hip-hop club at her high school for three years. Offstage, one can often find Candace dancing, programming, or watching movies. Act One Robert Rauff (Guy 1) was born at a very young age. All Shook Up is his seventh Bluebards show; recently, he played Professor Harold Hill in The Music Man and Scene 1, A prison outside of town Young Scrooge in A Christmas Carol. He is also the Cadet in Charge of Bluebards; “Jailhouse Rock” (Chad, Jailbirds, Warden) he is humbled and honored to have had the opportunity to work with such an Scene 2, Sylvia’s honky-tonk amazing club. “Heartbreak Hotel” (Dennis, Sylvia, Lorraine, Natalie, Jim, Will Rayner (Dean) has been involved in theatre since 5th grade, when he was Barflies) cast as Nikko the flying monkey in The Wizard of Oz. He continued with the Marshall Civic Players Children's Theatre, and he later joined the Marshall High Scene 3, Main Street School Redhawk Theatre, performing in A Christmas Carol (Dick Wilkins), Beauty “Roustabout” (Chad) and the Beast (LeFou), Les Miz (Thenardier), It's A Wonderful Life (Mr. Potter), and The Little Mermaid (Scuttle). One of Will’s favorite memories was taking a “One Night” (Natalie) phone interview with Senator Gary Peters' team for a USAFA nomination during “C’mon Everybody” (Chad and Company) intermission of It's A Wonderful Life! He is so excited to perform in his first USAFA Scene 4, Inside Jim’s gas station show! Last year, she played the lovable lisper “One Night” (reprise) (Chad) Winthrop Paroo in The Music Man. She enjoys fishing, drawing, reading, and playing with her sponsor family's dogs. Scene 6, Sylvia’s honky-tonk Julia Rochester (Director) is a 2nd-class cadet taking part in her sixth Bluebards “One Night” (reprise) (Jim) show. She has performed in Bluebards’ productions of All My Sons (Ann Deever), “That’s All Right” (Chad, Dennis, Lorraine, Sylvia, Dean, Barflies) Richard III (Lady Anne Neville), and A Christmas Carol (Sarah). She also served as Scene 7, The bus stop the asst. director on two Bluebards musicals: West Side Story and The Music Man. Julia is a member of the club volleyball team and Navigators. Scene 8, Outside the garage Brooke Schumacher (Ensemble) was raised in Georgia, after which she lived in “Love me Tender” (Chad) Saudi Arabia for six years. She has been participating in theatre since she was “Love me Tender” (reprise) (Natalie) four; previous school/community theatre productions include The Crucible (Mary Scene 9, Outside the shoe store Warren) and Aladdin (Genie). She appeared as one of the Jet Girls in Bluebards’ West Side Story (Pauline). Brooke is a member of the Judo Team and enjoys rock “Blue Suede Shoes” (‘Ed’, Chad, Dennis, Ensemble) climbing, filmmaking, and playing the ukulele. “Don’t be Cruel” (Chad, Jim, ‘Ed’) Sophie Serage (Ensemble) is a freshman from Tulsa, Oklahoma. She is excited Scene 10, The museum’s statue garden to make her show-stopping debut in Bluebards and is grateful for the people it has “Follow that Dream” (reprise) (‘Ed’) brought into her life. She has performed in school productions of High School “One Night” (reprise) (Sandra) Musical, Oklahoma!, West Side Story, and Annie Get Your Gun. He enjoys hanging out with his friends and flying at the USAFA Remotely Piloted Aircraft Dennis Todd Campo squadron. Abby Stout (Assistant Director) is a 3rd-class cadet taking part in her first Dean Hyde Will Rayner Bluebirds show. In addition to Bluebards, Abby is a member of the USAFA mountaineering team and CRU. She enjoys creative writing, reading, and being Sheriff Earl Jelani Washington outdoors. Abby would like to thank her family, her friends, the cast, and the production team. Warden David Evans Ensemble Braeden Swanson (Ensemble) is a freshman from Seattle; she grew up doing theater but stopped after a career high performance in High School Musical as a Jailbirds: Eliana Catalario, Thomas Corpuz, Jimmy Cummings, basketball player. Curi von Schlag (Store Clerk) is a freshman from Maryland. John Dye, Juanita Garcia, Emma Jones, Arturo Martinez, Eliza McCarthy, Despite few roles in recent years, she spent much of her childhood participating in theatre. In addition to Bluebards, she is a member of the USAFA Diving Team Baileigh McFall, Rob Rauff, Dan Smith, Braeden Swanson and loves competing on the Academy's behalf. In her free time, she loves to play music and sing with other cadets, go dancing, and spend time with her friends.
