WENTWORTH CON – April 4, 2020 Wentworth Con Video Contest WENTWORTH CON – April 4, 2020 Wentworth Con Video Contest VIDEO CATEGORIES: Wentworth Con will play the following (five) videos during the Panel/Q&A. 1. Wentworth Con Intro – featuring all four guests attending! 2. Entrance Video for Danielle Cormack (Bea Smith) 3. Entrance Video for Libby Tanner (Bridget Westfall) 4. Entrance Video for Nicole da Silva (Franky Doyle) 5. Entrance Video for Socratis Otto (Maxine Conway) RULES: 1. All entries must be received by 11:59pm Friday, February 28th, 2020. 2. All videos must be ORIGINAL, your own work and no one else’s. 3. All videos must be HD (1080p) and between 90-120 seconds. 4. All videos must be subtitled. 5. All videos must focus on the Wentworth character. (ie: best lines, best moments, drama, action, love) Be sure to incorporate audio from the show. Please do not send us videos solely based on a “ship”. As much as we love the fandom “ships”, we want to highlight more than just their love stories. 6. To submit your video, you must email a link to your video download to [email protected]. Include your Full Name, City, and State in the body of the email. Dropbox, Wetransfer, 4Shared, Sendspace, Mediafire, are common delivery methods. Please do not send us a link to a Youtube video. Should your video be chosen, we will have to download it for the final vote. 7. Anonymous submissions are not accepted. 8. Videos should be free of creator identification, including bumpers and credit rolls. We will announce the video creator at the convention and give credit should we post the video online after the event. 9. You do not have to attend to convention to enter and win. 10. You can enter all five categories, but you can only submit ONE video per category. PRIZES: There will be a total of FIVE prize winners. (Four individual videos and One group video) Each video creator will win: 1. Video will be played at The Official Wentworth Con in Chicago, IL on April 4, 2020. 2. One Wentworth Con event poster autographed by all four guests. LEGAL STUFF: 1.     Stone Infiltration Landing at Wentworth Lake The finished project looked like it could have been there all along. During rain storms, the Murray’s place at Wentworth Lake had a trail of stormwater runoff from their parking area passing in front of the porch steps and running down the bank of the lake. The Murray’s parking area had recently been regraded and they had installed some large boulders and other edging to stabilize the area and prevent runoff from reaching the lake. However this one area remained a challenge. The fix was a boxed-out, stone-filled infiltration landing at the bottom of the porch steps. Background This project really began at the May 2018 The project area before, showing runoff from the parking area running into the lake in the Water Summit in Wolfeboro. Anne background, and after, showing the boxed out infiltration landing that captures the runoff. Blodget of the Wentworth Watershed Association (WWA) and Soak Up the Rain New Hampshire (SOAKNH) team members recruited homeowners who were interested in having the SOAKNH team assess their properties for signs of runoff. In July, the WWA / SOAKNH team met with ten lakeside property owners and made recommendations on opportunities to capture or prevent runoff. As a result of the visits, the team chose to ask the Murrays if they would be willing to collaborate on a project to address the parking area runoff issue. The Murrays had been working hard to find ways around their place to be lake-friendly and were pleased and eager to take on this project as well.

The policy aims to explain the purpose of Social Media at Wentworth Primary School and the benefits that will arise from its proper use, and deal with any potential pitfalls. The intention is that the school trials use of the accounts under this policy for a 6 month period before reviewing to assess the success of it and any issues seen. Facebook is one of the dominant social networking sites in the world. Facebook lets you share photos, videos, links, status updates, and much more Facebook gives people control over what they share, who they share it with, the content they see and experience, and who can contact them. What is Twitter? Twitter is used primarily as a method of communication made up of 140 characters called a ‘tweet’. Tweets can be information being “broadcast”, or can relate to people, places and/or activities and enable responses. Twitter users are able to follow or be followed. When you follow another Twitter account, their activity and comments appear in your news feed. The benefit of having followers is that the information you broadcast is instantly distributed into their news feed, users can then re-tweet that to their followers and so on. Twitter users can also send a private message to each other when they don’t want conversations to appear beyond one user.

Shields, Managing Director. BABY DOLL is presented by special arrangement with The University of the South, Sewanee, Tennessee. WELCOME When I saw the film BABY DOLL a few years back, I wanted to stage it thinking the film was based on a play of the same name, not realising it was actually based on Williams’ earlier play, 27 WAGONS FULL OF COTTON. There was no play of BABY DOLL to perform. A few years later two scripts cropped up around the same time and I was thrilled with Pierre Laville and Emily Mann’s adaptation. It captures the essence of the film, the damage of the characters and Tennessee Williams’ beautiful dialogue. I am thrilled we are presenting BABY DOLL - almost as a new play by Tennessee Williams in 2019. With Shaun Rennie at the helm of this beautiful cast and creative team, we are very excited indeed.
