1 to 31 May 2013 Events Guide www.plymhistoryfest.wordpress.com A word from the Festival Director Welcome to ’s first-ever History Festival! The aim of the Festival, which will run from 1 to 31 May 2013, is to highlight Plymouth's unique heritage and encourage local residents and visitors to experience our historic environment and buildings. Over 50 different local organisations and heritage providers are contributing to the Festival which has been coordinated by Plymouth City Council’s Arts and Heritage Service. We’re massively grateful for everyone’s support and look forward to working with them on future Festivals. For a full list of everyone who’s been involved and links to their individual websites, visit www.plymhistoryfest.wordpress.com/partners The Festival has a wide ranging programme with something on offer for all ages and interests in a variety of locations throughout the city centre and the suburbs. From exhibitions and displays, film screenings, music and performance to talks, walks, guided tours, family activities and a host of special events – we hope you will really enjoy what we have to offer.
