Appalachian athletics joins the SoCon in celebrating this monumental event. Prior to his appointment at Belmont Abbey, Stahlschmidt STAHLSCHMIDT served two years as an assistant at Pfeiffer, where his team won a Head Coach CVAC regular season title in 1997. A native of St. Louis, Stahlschmidt graduated from Appalachian in 1994 after transferring from Southeast Fifth Season Missouri State. A two-sport scholar-athlete at ASU, he was a member Appalachian, ‘94 of the soccer and track and field teams.
