Joseph pittenger 8th Grade Woodland Park Academy Grand Blanc, MI 48439 My hero Naruto Uzumaki Imagine not having anything since the time that you were born, no parents, and no friends. The only way for people to notice you or gain their respect is to become the “hokage”, when people see you they have that stink eye wondering why you exist. Knowing that their lies a beast that is contained and trapped inside you that killed their parents in the great ninja war. Masashi kishimoto has created such a character. The character Masashi has created has created is such a inspiration because the lesson that naruto gives is “is to never give up no matter how hard the mission is”. Naruto’s dream is to become the “hokage”, to get there naruto practice until he dropped. That’s the lesson that I get out of Naruto, if you have a dream follow it and never give up on your dreams. Naruto Uzumaki is a character that never gives up no matter the situation, even if it’s life a or death situation when it seems like there no way out. There was once a battle between Naruto and Gaara the battle was furious Garra was about to demolish Naruto with his sand burial but then Naruto’s confidence erupted, the nine tails came out of Naruto and defeated Gaara. Another perk that Naruto has is confidence. When Naruto fought Gaara he was full of confidence. This is another reason why Naruto is my hero, because of his confidence he was able to defeat the feared monster in the sand village. The confidence that naruto has gives him the advantage to follow his dreams. My dream is to become a gaming engineer, to get there I will need the confidence and to never give up. 1 The last lesson that I get from Naruto is effort and practice. The last step to get where you need to go is practice. Naruto practiced and trained his heart out. Naruto had a sensi named Jiraiya, Jiraiya took Naruto as his student and trained him for three year’s for enough for any danger. That’s the final lesson i receive. Naruto has taught me alot on how to succeed. I learned to never give up, to have confidence and to get better i must practice. My goal is to create games, Naruto gives me the lessons to not give up on my dreams. 2 .

Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membuktikan bahwa ijime dalam manga Naruto merupakan sebuah refleksi kondisi ijime nyata serta untuk menganalisis dampak yang diakibatkan oleh tindakan ijime terhadap tokoh Gaara. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan sosiologi sastra dengan melakukan studi pustaka. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif analisis. Sedangkan, untuk menjawab permasalahan penelitian, penulis menggunakan teori Ian Watt mengenai sastra sebagai cerminan kondisi sosial budaya masyarakat dan teori sosial milik Hagan yang menyatakan bahwa fungsi masyarakat sebagai pembentuk sifat _baik_ atau _jahat_ dalam diri individu. Dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan, penulis menarik kesimpulan sebagai berikut: (1) Manga Naruto dapat merefleksikan kondisi ijime di dunia nyata dengan baik. Hal ini dapat dibuktikan dari adanya kesamaan penyebab, pelaku, bentuk tindakan, dan dampak yang ditimbulkan dari ijime yang digambarkan dalam Naruto dengan kondisi ijime nyata. (2) Dampak yang ditimbulkan oleh ijime pada tokoh Gaara adalah terjadinya perubahan pada watak tokoh tersebut. Born University of Missouri, St. Louis Since their introduction to Japan in the Sixth Century, the teachings of Confucius have played an important role in the creation and sustenance of societal values and order. While Japanese society has changed much since the dawn of the postwar era, these same basic principles are still highly influential, but are seen in some surprising forms. Geared primarily at pre-teen and teen-age boys, recent shônen anime, especially Naruto and Bleach, evince Confucian values while encouraging the viewer to identify with and embrace them. While some critics of contemporary culture are quick to point out some of the societal breakdowns and subcultural variances common to the Otaku phenomenon, Confucianism is still alive and well, albeit in reinterpreted forms. Using shônen anime in the classroom to examine traditional values creates a useful device for understanding Japanese popular culture and its connection to larger anthropological and historical themes. Traditional Confucian Influences That Confucius has historically had a great influence on Japanese society is no secret. In conjunction with Buddhism, the teachings of Confucius made their way to Japan from China via emissaries from Korea in 552, when the kingdom of Paekche was seeking allies in their struggles for power with the competing kingdoms of Koguryo and Silla.
