4. Photographs and medal. [date] – [date]. ca. 260 photographs. – 1 medal.

Scope and content: Photographs are reflective predominantly of the years circa 1941 to 1956, but also include historical family photographs from both Irene Norman and E. H. Norman’s families, as well as photographs of memorial services held for E.H. Norman. Also included in this series is a medal given to E.H. Norman in 1933 from Victoria University. The series is arranged into files in keeping with their arrangement at time of transfer: Loose photographs form one file (Loose photographs); photographs that appear to have been compiled into an album have been removed from their pages and created into one file (Album pages); photographs in three albums cannot be removed without tearing, and therefore form three more files (Album from an unknown function, Album from E.H. Norman’s memorial in Japan, E.H. Norman “Reminiscence” album) and one photograph of E.H. Norman is in a frame (Framed photograph).
