Summer Trainee – Media Streaming and/or File Systems

As Summer Trainee you will be assigned challenging tasks according to your skills and interests. The candidate is a talented Computer Science or Electronic Engineering student who has a genuine passion for results and can achieve them both independently and as a member of a geographically distributed develop! ment team.

Responsibilities: * Work in several roles on the development, integration and support of Tuxera's media streaming and/or file systems software

Required Experience: * Knowledge of at least two major operating systems such as: Mac OS X, , Android, MS Windows * Strong level of C/C++ programming * Interest and familiarity with media streaming technologies, networking protocols and file systems and storage technologies * Studies in Software Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering

Pluses: * Experience with Android and iOS application development * Interest or experience in UPnP, DLNA and Airplay * Knowledge of Linux kernel development

This position will be full-time. Tuxera office is located in Lauttasaari, Helsinki, Finland.
