Responding to issues in your community During the month of January, there were a total of 265 investigations in Woodbridge. This is a slight increase from December, where we recorded 263 investigations. (Investigations relate not only to recorded criminal offences, but also safeguarding individuals). Parishes have been affected by, residential / garage / shed burglaries, thefts from motor vehicles, criminal damage and ASB incidents. Investigations also include reassurance and crime reduction surveys.

Making the community safer Mobile Police Station visits as stated in Future events Visits to a number of community group events throughout the District Future events Visiting sheltered accommodation homes to provide reassurance to vulnerable residents School visits. Recently setup a Junior Road Safety Scheme at Kyson School. A county-wide crime prevention Organising Crime Reduction events i.e. Woodbridge Library 6th Feb incorporated with campaign to stop thefts from Mobile Station visit . Working with Safekey and visiting residential homes with them to vans will launch in February provide crime reduction/personal safety advice. 05/02/2018 Mobile Police Preventing, reducing and solving crime and ASB Station Visits , We provided regular foot patrols of the Woodbridge Town centre,due to Orford, recent spate of burglaries. Our team continue to provide a Mobile and foot presence in and around the ‘hot spot’ areas where crime and ASB is 06/02/2018 Mobile Police occurring.
