Working with our customer and using leading edge thinking as well as our custom design process we were able to improve the design of the P-90 sub machine-gun. Improved sighting and laser access were achieved by doing the followings. - Lowering the day sight rail - Relocating the laser switch - Adding an “always on” mode to the switch. The challenge from the customer was how to test ammunition performance from their firearm, without inconsistencies related to the firing process. Our R&D department designed a test stand that produced repeatable shot to shot function of the firearm, allowing focus to be placed on analyzing the ammunition’s consistency and precision. This was achieved by : - Engineered to return to the original firing position. - Exact firing angle is main- tained during every test. - Consistent presure & friction applied to the firearm. - Designed so that the magazine is easy to reload.
