Bras Wanted for Charity! Any size. Any style or colour. Any condition. If you have any old bras that you no longer need and would like to send to a good cause, please bring them in to School, marked for the attention of Mrs Balado. The bras are being collected for use in a project running in some countries in Africa. In these countries girls and women wearing bras are often safer from violence, as ownership of a bra indicates that they are being looked after by a man. Any bras are suitable, regardless of size or style (even if they have holes or are damaged - the fittings can be reused). Mrs Balado will then forward them on to a local Women’s Institute group that is collecting them. Thank you.

U15 Cricket Team Victory Congratulations to the U15 cricket team who recently won the U15 Devon County Cricket Finals, which took place at Exeter University on Tuesday 29th January. They lost their first pool game by 30 runs to a strong side from South Dartmoor College, but after that defeat they never looked back, dismissing School and College to finish runners up of their group, with South Dartmoor undefeated and finishing at the top. The semi final was a replay of the East Devon Schools Final vs Kings School. The boys bowled and fielded excellently restricting Kings to 54 runs and reaching their total with 2 overs to spare. The final saw a rematch against South Dartmoor and this time the boys were on top form - batting first, scoring 74 and restricting South Dartmoor to 61 runs. An excellent team performance which bodes well for a strong Summer of cricket ahead. Well done to: Seth Findlay, Ennis MacKenzie, Will Machin, Tom Hatton, Jared Allen, Charlie Putt, Mitch Fisher, Cai Gardener, and Sammy Broomhead (capt) - School Under 15s County Champions!
