Kathy McLeish | Co-Chair, Women in Media and ABC Journalist

Award winning ABC journalist and producer who has reported for programs such as ABC News, 7.30 Qld, Stateline, 7.30, Landline, and ABC TV’s Back Roads. As the Co-Chair of WIM she led the establishment of the organisation as an independent company and built a national network with chapters in every state and they now have more than 5000 members nationally. WIM offers mentoring, networking events and scholarships. She’s MC’d and presented a wide range of events including the Walkley Awards, Qld Australian of the Year Awards, Mental Health Awards, and of course the WIM annual conference.

Robyn Petrou | Chief Executive Officer, Energy Super

Robyn is the CEO of Energy Super, with over 25 years’ experience in superannuation management. At Energy Super, she has driven the continued growth, product development and performance of the fund, which today has more than $8 billion in funds under management and more than 48,000 members. Robyn is a Director of the Fund Executives Association (FEAL), a past Director of the Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees (AIST). She was also awarded FEAL's 2013 Fund Executive of the Year, CEO Magazine's 2013 Financial Services Executive of the Year; Finalist for the 2014 Telstra Business Women's Awards and Women in Financial Services Woman of the Year 2014. Prior to Energy Super, Robyn held numerous roles in Senior Executive positions covering Compliance, Investment management, Operations and Strategy.

Anthony Schiavo | Head of Corporate Superannuation Australia, Mercer

Head of corporate superannuation in Mercer's client management team in Australia. Financial services and employee benefits professional. Consulting, change management, general management. Specialties: Institutional client and individual customer relationship management, business management, institutional sales, marketing and communication consulting and practice, strategic and tactical communication and change management, financial services expertise, coaching and facilitation.

Wendy Tancred | Chief Executive Officer, Mercy Super

Wendy has over three decades of experience in the financial services industry, including senior executive and state head roles within major financial institutions encompassing technical, business development and marketing functions. She was also Managing Director of a health industry based super fund for six years. Wendy spent a number of years as CEO of a major HR Consulting firm leading a team focused on enhancing workplace performance for employers and also spent some time as CEO of an information technology consulting business. Wendy returned to the financial services industry in 2017 to become CEO of Mercy Super. She is a past lecturer on superannuation and insurance at the University of Queensland. Having held a number of directorships of superannuation funds and other financial services organisations, she is currently a member of the Australian Dental Association Foundation Advisory Board and the Hawkesbury Institute for the Environment Advisory Board.
