COOPERATIVES ALL OVER THE COUNTRY GOING THE EXTRA MILE TO SERVE THEIR MEMBERS AND COMMUNITIES AMIDST COVID-19 PANDEMIC: REPORTS FROM REGION 2 #CoopsAgainstCOVID19

COOPERATIVES IN ACTION

Concern for the community is about giving and helping those who cannot help themselves. Many business organizations refuse to give back because of financial reasons. However, cooperatives still chose to do it. Their small acts to help the community can have a big impact on how people see them as business organizations.

Concern for the community has been the guiding principle of cooperatives to help the community grow and recover from this pandemic in an extensive way. This principle also allows cooperatives to influence other business organizations to reach out to the community. Above all, it brings the community closer through working together in achieving a safer environment for all. The smallest help can possibly change one’s life forever. Truly, a little help goes a long way.
