A721 Gartcosh Walk and Belgrave Street,

(Temporary Prohibition of Right Turn) Order 2006

On 25 May 2006 the Council made the above-named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and in exercise of all other enabling powers, which makes it unlawful for any person to undertake a right hand manoeuvre from A721 Gartcosh Walk into Belgrave Street, Bellshill (with the exception of vehicles engaged on construction of a new roundabout) by reason of works being executed on or near that location.

Alternative routes: Vehicles travelling westwards on A721 Gartcosh Walk, Bellshill, requiring to turn right into Belgrave Street, Bellshill should proceed north-westwards on A721 Gartcosh Walk, proceed around Bellziehill Interchange roundabout, then proceed south-eastwards on (A721) Gartcosh Walk, to gain access to Belgrave Street, Bellshill.

The Order, will come into operation at 0001 hours on Saturday, 10 June 2006 and will remain in operation until 2359 hours on Friday, 1 December 2006.

(Temporary Prohibition of Right Turn) Order 2006

The North Lanarkshire Council in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and of all other enabling powers, hereby make the following Order:-

1. This Order may be cited as “The North Lanarkshire Council (A721 Gartcosh Walk and Belgrave Street, Bellshill) (Temporary Prohibition of Right Turn) Order 2006’’ and shall be effective during the period from 0001 hours on Saturday, the tenth day of June Two thousand and six until 2359 hours on Friday, the first day of December Two thousand and six.

2. No person shall undertake a right hand manoeuvre from A721 Gartcosh Walk into Belgrave Street, Bellshill (with the exception of vehicles engaged on construction of a new roundabout) by reason of works being executed on or near that location.
