Introduction:
V1.0: Saint Seiya Densetsu is a fan-made game of one of the best anime and manga series of all time. The story of saints, which fought to protect the world from evil by using cloths, based mostly on constellations and mythological characters. The game is in turn-based RPG style, therefore the player make choices on what to do on combat during his turn as he wishes and the universe around is very interactive. The game is still not complete so some bugs are still present however; the programmers on a regular basis gradually solve those. V1.1: It is with great excitement that I return to update the game guide to catch up with the new demo released just a few hours ago. I don’t think I have any new introduction to make other than simply stating that the game is (trying to) combining both manga and anime versions of the story (including the OVAs, which are one of the biggest points of criticism about the series conversion to anime).
Instructions:
The game is very simple: Move and Change Options using the four directional buttons; Enter or Space to Accept; Esc to cancel, to open the main menu or to return one menu back
Basics:
1. Events
Events are happenings that may occur during a battle. It may give status to one character or it may win the battle to the player, or even give you an item after such. They are activated when the player creates certain circumstances or some choices are made. Once circumstances are correct, the event should occur by the use of the Talk action on the battle screen.
2. Battle Styles:
Battle Styles are different ways of combating an opponent in the game. Before a fight, you have to choose a combatant and its Combat Style. There are in total 4 different Battle Styles in the game. Each influences differently your character. Different characters have a different range of Combat Styles. - The Aggressive Style gives your character a boost in attack but a big lack in defence. Should usually be used for quick fights where there is no reason to stop attacking, since any enemy attack will cause great damage. The Aggressive Style gives you the options to Burn or to Gather your Cosmo, giving you more attack power or increasing your speed so that you can avoid enemy attacks. It gives you the ability to fight using Heavy Attack, or using Special Attacks up to level 3. - The Inner Style focuses more on your inner power. It has no influence on attack nor defence but it boosts your Cosmo. Thus, it allows you to Expand or to Flare your Cosmo. Those increase you Cosmo by adding more to it or by doubling it. However due to Inner being a more neutral Style, it gives you the choices to Attack, Defend or use up to level 2 Special Attacks. - The Balanced Style has influences on both Attack and Defence, however your special attacks have a certain lack of power. It allows your character to use Improved Attack, which boosts the agility, allowing to hit almost anyone, Defend which doubles your defence, therefore blocking attacks, using a level 1 Special Attack or a Combined Attack, which is as strong as a level 3 Special Attack, therefore spending SP. In Cosmo, you will be able to Expand only. - The Defensive Style increases your defence greatly, reducing your attack. This time, you may use Cosmo Expand and Fortress, an ability that increases even more your defence. You have no attacks; however, you will have the use of Improved Defence, which DOES boost your defence. You may also use Bless, which allows your character to use Athena Bless, Cosmo Bless or Blood Bless. Those restore your energy, Cosmo and cloth respectively. Your only Attacks are a level 1 Special and a Summon Attack, which uses the power of: either Jabu, Steel Saints, Minor Bronze Saints or Crystal Master to attack the enemy. These need cards to be equipped to the character, which not only will be used for this attack, but will also boost some status of the saint. They use some SP.
3. Characters:
The game makes use of the 4 major Bronze Saints, other 8 secret characters and some miscellaneous characters at some points.

4. Saving:
This game has a particular difference from other RPGs which is the lack of saving. Instead of what many may think, this is a good thing in this game since the save option will be informed by the character at a point where some important event will happen (ie. The player will need to make a choice) and is always available with a “shop” character, Kiki, for instance.
5. Cards:
Cards, need no introduction for they are part of most RPG games nowadays. In this particular one, they are divided into 4 types: Usable recovery/boost cards; Quest item cards; Character Cards; and Equipable items. Here is a list of those cards known to me so far:

Menu Screens:
1. CARD List: Use this menu to gain access to a list of cards in your possession.
2. SPC Skills: Here, your Fight Styles levels, Cosmo level and all attacks with description are shown.
3. Status: Here you choose one saint to view the status of. In the next screen you will be able to equip and unequip items. Those options will be: - Fist – Part of Cloth usually - Special – Equipable cards - Cloth – No comments…. - EX Effect – Summon Attacks Cards - Cosmo – Constellation Power (affect Cosmo abilities – eg. Lv 3 gives Cosmo Flare)
4. Save: Not usable.
5. Quit: Exit game.
Walkthrough:
Chapter 1: A New Era of Legend
• Seiya’s Path
You begin the game with a short sequence from the manga, which end up presenting a young Seiya training with Marin. When asked, choose any option, if you want an introduction on the Cosmo choose the second option. On the next scene just pay attention to what she says and follow her instructions when asked to. You will have two battles with her. Choose the correct Fight Styles and everything will go normally. After those, she will ask Seiya to break a stone. At first Seiya wont be able to do so, so Marin explains him how to concentrate in the point he’ll hit. You have to choice to either say “Uhum…” or “…” – choose any, I saw no difference when choosing one or another but a couple of lines which don’t make any difference on the game (unless theres a big secret about it) . Then you will go to another area, where you will be explained about the Cosmo within a Saint. Next scene is an explanation of Cosmo and after the long and slow talk you will go to your first fight, against Cassios. After the conversations, you may speak to Shaina (nothing will happen really) and Marin (who will give you an Athena bless), now talk to Cassius and we’re off to the fight.
Cassios: Easy fight. Just choose Balanced Style and do whatever you want, after 2 or 3 turns there will be an event occurring which is Cassios grabbing Seiya; Seiya cutting Cassio’s ear and “Pegasus Ryu Sei Ken!!!!!” Sweet...
You’ll have couple of more conversations then you’ll see Seiya and Marin trying to escape. When you get your control back, speak to Marin to gain another Athena Bless and another time to save. Save and go down to next screen. Here get close to Shaina and her minions to have a conversation. Talk to her again to fight.
Shaina – 1 st round: Since you’ll fight her again, I call this the 1 st round. Talk to her and use Pegasus Ryu Sei Ken to unlock another eventwhere Shaina will use her Thunder Crow and beat Seiya.
Back to the map, there will attack Seiya again and he will finally use his Cloth. Use Athena Bless if necessary and fight Shaina again.
Shaina – 2 nd round: Now it gets trickier. Choose either Inner or Balanced (I recommend Inner because you have a bonus in Cosmo Expand), Cosmo Expand 1st turn and Pegasus Ryu Sei Ken to beat Shaina. Do not use Aggressive since you are still only with 1 SPC Attack and are weak in defence.
Well done, you finished the first Chapter! After a couple of screens, the new Chapter will begin...
Chapter 2: The Galaxian Wars
This is not really a Chapter, just part of one, as we’ll see in some time. Basically this is just a series of fights which will give you your first two Equipable Cards: Marin Teachings and Hidden Dragon. You’ll begin watching a fight between Unicorn Jabu and Minor Bear? where Jabu is the winner. Now it’s your turn.
Bear Geki: Easy fight. Choose Balanced; talk, Pegasus Ryu Sei Ken, talk, and you will get the event. Geki will grab you by the neck. Choose Talk again and then Attack Arms to receive S01 – Marin Teachings. End of fight.
Another animation of a fight. This time, Cygnus Hyoga vs Hydra Icchi. Guess who wins? Now it gets trickier to you.
Dragon Shiryu: In the first round, make sure Marin Teachings are equipped and choose Balanced. Defend, Defend and defend Again to beat Shiriu in the first round. 2nd round: You both take your cloths off and fight again. So choose balanced, and Defend until he uses his Dragon Shoriuha. If you’re lucky you’ll survive and receive your S02 – Hidden Dragon. This is one of the hardest ones to get so if you got it quickly, celebrate!
Now you’ll keep watching a massive lot of scenes with Ikki and then you’ll begin the next chapter:
• Hyoga’s Path
You begin this path with a cut-scene. Once you get control of Hyoga, go to the right of the screen, trying to follow an invisible path. In the next screen, just move to the top-right corner of the mount you are on. Another cut-scene will take place and it will finish with Master Crystal asking you to show your abilities. Talk to him.
Master Crystal: Like with Marin, this is just a training fight. Just follow his command and you should be OK.
Afterwards, there will be a cut-scene with Isaac and you’ll end up being challenged by him.
Isaac: Choose the style of your preference and defeat him with attacks ( I chose Aggressive) to defeat him.
Once defeated, Isaac will leave you and you’ll be free to control Hyoga again. So on the next screen; go up so that Hyoga is able to open a hole to his mother’s ship. Go down and you’ll be inside water. You have a certain control of your movements but it does not affect anything. A cut-scene will take turn and when you get Hyoga’s control back, go into the hole again in order to find Hyoga’s mother. When you get back to the surface, speak to Jacob and you’ll get your Cloth. There will be another cut-scene, this time with Camus and you’ll have finished this chapter!!
Chapter 2: The Galaxian Wars You probably know this chapter by now. The only difference is that, this time, you’ll fight against Hydra Ichi.
Hydra Ichi: Not a hard fight. Choose Balanced in order to keep good defence, Talk and, on the 3 rd round, an event will happen. Keep talking and you’ll trigger more events, which will finally give you S14 – Cloth of Ice and defeat him.
There will be a LONG cut-scene and you’ll finally take control of Shun outside Kido’s Mansion. Go down one screen, left and up. You’ll get o a massive tree where Shun remembers of himself and his brother training. Once finished, you take control of Seiya. Go right, save, up three screens, and left one (if you get lost, just follow the dog). You’ll see a cut-scene with Shun. Black Cygnus will appear. Talk to him and you’ll have an automatic fight. When defeated, both Seiya and Hyoga will appear. Hyoga then challenges Black Cygnus. Remember to equip S12 and talk to him.
Black Cygnus: An easy fight in fact. Choose Balanced, Cosmo Expand and Diamond Dust will be enough to defeat him.
The other Black Saints will come and another cut-scene will take place, another Chapter will be over.
Chapter 3: The Black Saints
This chapter you’ll start controlling Seiya and all 4 Bronze Saints later on, so I’ll divide the chapter into 4 bits.
Seiya Bit: After Hyoga and Shun leave you, go forward and walk left, there will be a scene where Kiki comes and then Save. Okay, now walk around until you find Black Pegasus.
Black Pegasus: Choose Balanced (again, and I recommend you to choose balanced until you get the Lvl 2 and 3 attacks, in next chapter), Talk, Defend until Black Pegasus use his Dark Ryu Sei Ken. You’ll know it when the screen goes black and Seiya receives a black mark on him. Then Cosmo Expand, and Pegasus Ryu Sei Ken. You should win.
Now go up to the screen with Kiki and two Black Phoenixes - Those are common enemies, so do not worry about them. Every time you fight them, you’ll win 1Gp per foe – and go upwards. You should get in a dodgy-looking place where Seiya will walk slowly. You should get control of Hyoga now.
Hyoga Bit:
From where you begin, go left and enter the cave on the left. You’ll meet with Black Cygnus and fight him.
Black Cygnus: Choose Aggressive and Talk twice to him. You’ll learn Aurora Thunder Attack, Hyoga’s Level 2 Attack!!! Now use all attacks you have (except Koli So) and you’ll kill him.
If everything goes as planned, Black Cygnus will send Ikki his circlet token. Now there’s a scene with Ikki then we begin with Shun.
Shun’s Bit:
Go up to the next 2 screens, practice and buy some items – Constellation Cards preferably! Now go up one screen and, after a scene, fight against Black Andromeda.
Black Andromeda: Choose Balanced (or Defensive) styles and talk 3 times; you should get S15 - Gentle Rage. Use Cosmo Expand and Andromeda Nebula Chain to finish with him.
After another short scene, Shyriu will join you.
Shyriu’s Bit:
Equip him with good Hidden Dragon and go for Black Dragon.
Black Dragon: Choose whatever you want and talk to him as much as you want, since for each talk, your saint will receive + 3 Att/Def. After a while, attack him and win this round.
You will have a chance to restore your saint with Athena/Cosmo Bless, then talk to Black Dragon again and fight once more.
Black Dragon: Just survive until Black Dragon uses his finger attack which will beat you.
Restore your live and fight for the last time.
Black Dragon: Talk and you’ll win.
After a scene, you’ll have the option between staying with Seiya or heading to Ikki. Choosing the first, you’ll Receive S13- Secret Stars, choosing the second, you’ll receive Draco Ryuseiken, Shyriu’s Combined attack. Next screen, save and now, let’s face Ikki.
Ikki Phoenix: You’ll have a choice of what to do here. You can kill Ikki with whomever you want and gain nothing special OR to choose Shun, Talk and play as you want, whatever you do, lose and receive S04 – Warm Feelings for Shun. Now choose Shyriu, Talk and whatever happens, DO NOT USE MORE THAN ONE HORO GORO HA, which might kill Ikki and, trust me, you’ll want to try one more thing. Choose Hyoga, Talk and use Diamond Dust to trigger an event and receive your S03 – Northern Cross for Hyoga. At last, with Seiya, Talk and in the 3 rd turn, an event should be triggered. One Pegasus Ryu Sei Ken should do the work now. Celebrate, you’ve defeated Ikki and received S05 – Friendship Cosmo, one of the strongest cards!!
Chapter 4: Silver Assassins
Check the 2 crosses on the right to obtain a Card and Save. Use this card on Seiya, and fight.
Lizard Misty: lose until you have two choices: To wait to recover or to fight him again. If you choose to challenge him again, choose Aggressive Style and Talk. You’ll learn Pegasus Rolling Crash and Suisenken and, after using the last one, you’ll receive S06 – Soul Burn. However if you choose to Take time to recover, Marin and Kiki will appear. You’ll fight Misty with Marin and, once defeated, talk to him again to receive his Card.
After this fight, Hyoga will join you and you’ll have to fight Babel. Choose Hyoga in order to obtain Cygnus Lvl 2.
Babel: Just choose Aggressive (in order to make the battle quicker), survive until Babel and Hyoga have a little conversation, Talk (and you’ll receive Hyogas’s Lev 2 Cosmo) and Aurora thunder Attack (twice if needed)!!!
After a cut scene, Shyriu and Shun will join your party to help fight both Silver Saints. Against them, if you use Shyriu and Shun and win, you’ll receive their Lvl 2 Cosmos, however certain events might happen if you choose Seiya against Moses:
Whale Moses: Talk until Moses say that Marin is Seiya’s Sister, you’ll receive S07 – Wings of Pegasus. Now just use a powerful attack and win to fight Asterion.
Asterion: It doesn’t matter who you choose to fight with, just lose and Marin will free herself from the chains and join you (as a secret character, but if you talk to her, you’ll be able to control her – so DO IT!!) Once with her, you’ll have an easy fight, just attack him whatever way you like. After you finish with him, there will be another cut scene and the next Chapter…
Chapter 5: The Awakening of Athena
Your first enemy here will be Corvus Jamian, so equip Friendship Cosmo on Seiya and go for it.
Corvus Jamian: Not that hard fight. Talk until you’re covered with feathers, Cosmo Expand and Fight to get rid of them, now just Expand Cosmo and use any Spc Move you want.
After the fight, Ophioucus Shina will appear, unequip Seiya and talk to Saori and watch the cut scene. After the fall, you’ll play as Saori. Follow the path to the left until you find Corvus Jamian again. When asked to fight or wait, wait and Shaina will appear. You’ll be asked the same question again, choose fight to show them Divine Cosmo. After the short demonstration, Ikki comes to save the day. Save and equip Ikki with Soul Burn. Then speak to Jamian and lets have a proper fight. Save
Corvus Jamian: Easy now you have Ikki. Two Hoyoku Tenshuo will do the job nicely.
Save again and restore your HP and SP, Shina is way harder to defeat. As you speak to her, you’ll have 4 options, choose the last one in order to receive her Card after defeated.
Shina: Hard fight. Choose Inner Style, pray for Phoenix Genmaken to work, Expand Cosmo and Hoyoku Tenshuo. Repeat the last two steps till you defeat her. I was lucky enough to kill her in the first try, however in previous versions I had a lot of struggle with her.
After defeated, as I said, you’ll receive Shina Card, Save again, follow the path to regroup with Shyriu, Hyoga and Shun. Now you may fight with those three, Ikki or Marin, who is next to Seiya. I couldn’t do anything special with Marin, so I will follow my old choices to obtain as many S Cards as possible.
Auriga Capella: Choose Ikki (by talking to him), Talk and use Phoenix Genmaken, Talk again. You’ll destroy him.
Now come back to Shyriu, and speak to Cereberus Dante to fight him.
Cereberus Dante: Either choose Shun and Talk. You’ll receive S08 – Brotherly Love or kill Dante with Ikki straight after Capella, you would receive S09 – No Mercy.
Now to Perseu Argol. Shyriu again and speak to Capella, use Caress of Athena on Shun so that he comes back to life, fight against Argol using Shun and let him to become petrified, use Hyoga and let the same happen to him.
Perseus Argol: Okay plenty options here. 1. If you got Lizard Misty’s card, you can get Argol’s card by having him in your party and telling him “Athena is among us” (so to find him go about 3 screens back) do the same with Ikki, choosing “That young girl…” After that, time for some usual killing monster event. Get the normal Bronze Saints. You must lose from him using Shun and Hyoga, with Shyriu begin the battle and Talk. When Argol uses his Medusa Shield, Shyriu will blind himself and you’ll receive S10 – Blindness. If you did something wrong, you’ll have a choice whether to attack Argol’s reflected image or to wait. I you choose the first, Argol will start to use his better moves; if you choose the 2 nd , your attack will be halved. 2. Now if you use Marin, nothing happens other than an impossible fight (why is she there then?)
After you kill Argol, there will be another cut scene and you get to…
Chapter 6: The Threat of Eris
When you start this chapter, as soon as you take control (after the battle with skeleton knights), go to the left in order to find Kiki and do the usual shopping/saving. After this, go to the right to the first screen and go to the right. Here you’ll choose where each Saint will go to, Seiya should go to the Ruins, Shyriu should go to the Water Temple, Hyoga shall go to the Cave and Shun to the Old Garden.
With Seiya, go down one screen an follow to the left. When Maya of Sagitta appears, go and talk to him to confront him.
Maya of Sagitta: Here you’ll have to choose whether you want Orion Jagger Card or S10 – Saint of Hope. If you choose to get Saint of Hope, just beat Maya with your strongest attack. If you prefer Orion Jagger on your side, let him use his Ghost Arrows. When he does so, some turns later, he will say that one of his arrows hit Seiya, now just use Pegasus Ryu Sei Ken to finish him.
With Shyriu, talk to Yan of Scudum to fight him.
Yan of Scudum: Choose Inner, Talk and use Hosan Shoriuha. Yan will survive and use his attack which will beat you. There will be a cut scene and when you get Shyriu control back, talk to Yan again and fight him for the last time. If you choose fight, you’ll receive Dragon Soul, If you choose Cosmo, you’ll get your Cosmo Lvl 3 or you can Talk and receive absolutely nothing but a couple of sentences! Anyway choose whatever and the fight is yours.
Hyoga’s turn. Go to the far right of the screen to go to the next. Do it again to meet Christ of Southern Cross.
Christ of Southern Cross: Talk and use Diamond Dust in order to defeat him. Another cut scene and we turn to Shun. Or try using Aurora Thunder Attack to defeat him without any events.
With shun, just go down one screen to find Lyre Orpheus. Talk to him and fight him.
Lyre Orpheus: You have two options. Either you can kill him with Shun in order to get his Cosmo Level 3 against Jagger or you can just let be defeated in order to call Ikki and receive Ikki’s Level 3 and the Sagittarius Cloth against Jagger. If you choose the first, make sure Shun has Gentle Rage equipped and in a few tries, you’ll be able to defeat Lyre. If you choose to use Ikki, just Talk until Orpheus uses his Spc Attack. Ikki will join you, you’ll be able to save by talking to Shun, and once you begin your fight, use Phoenix Genmaken in order to trigger an event. Talk after the event and you’ll receive Level 3 for Ikki. That said, kill Orpheus and we go to Seiya again.
Now you have Seiya under control again, if you killed Orpheus with Shun, he should be on the right hand side of the screen, and Kiki will appear on the left. In order to find Jagger, just go up the steps and watch a short cut scene. Now it’s the time to fight against Jagger.
Orion Jagger: If you did all events on the last battles, Seiya shouldn’t be able to fight, so Ikki would fight for you (twice, one easy time which you win and another where you lose), so that you may obtain the Sagittarius Cloth. Now when you fight him again, Talk 3 times and use your Golden Ryu Sei Ken to destroy Jagger and obtain his Card. If you didn’t do Seiya’s event against Maya but all others, you can defeat Jagger with Seiya (a warning, he’s tough), to receive, after the 2 nd round, S10 - Saint of Hope and get the Sagittarius Card. Now if you didn’t do any events whatsoever and prefer to use Shun, Hyoga or Shiryu against Jagger, defeat him and on the 2 nd round and Talk, and defeat him, you’ll receive their Cosmo Level 3 and the usual cards.
Afterwards, there’s gonna be another cut-scene and you’ll realize you’ve beaten this chapter!
Chapter 7: Paths
• Seiya’s Path - Confessions
You begin this path with Seiya in the hospital and you’ll only get control of him after a while. When it happens, go to the right two screens, until you get to the woods. There, Shina will try to fight you but Seiya refuses to fight back. After some resistance, Leo Aiolia arrives and challenges you to a fight. You can choose to fight either with Shina or with Seiya.
Leo Aiolia: With Shina, just use Thunder Crow till Aiolia is defeated and you’ll receive S12 – Strength of Gold. If you fight with Seiya, Talk and use Pegasus Ryu Sei Ken in order to get the cut-scene (which would happen if you beat Aiolia with Shina).
After thet, 3 Silver Saints will arrive to challenge Seiya. After this first cut-scene, talk to Aiolia to save and turn back to meet the Silver Saints. The Golden Cloth will appear and Seiya will wear it again. Choose any of the 3 to fight against.
Silver Saints: Just use your Cosmo Flare and Golden Ryu Sei Ken to defeat them.
After this fight, Aiolia decides to challenge you. Kiki will appear just in case if you need a last-minute shop (but beware, he sells worse things than the one in Asgard). When you feel ready, equip Seiya with his best equipment and talk to Aiolia.
Leo Aiolia: The hardest fight so far. The trick to defeat him is either to have a VERY powerful Seiya; or to Talk many times. I believe 15 were enough to beat him with 2 attacks. Remember to use Cosmo Flare before attacking: this not only increases the damage of your attack but also makes sure Aiolia cannot block it. After some practice, you will beat him and there will be a cut-scene.
Once you gain Hyoga’s control, go to the right until you find some more minions to fight, beat them and save. Get ready for the next chapter:
• Hyoga’s Path – Do Cvidanja
As you begin with Hyoga, walk forward and once the cut-scene is done, advance another screen… ignore the house… just go UP the screen. Eventually there will be a cut-scene and once its finished, go and approach Master Crystal. There will be another cut-scene. You’ll end up on an empty screen. Just go right and another short cut-scene will take place. At the end, you’ll be controlling Seiya. Use this time to un equip his stuff so that you can give them to Hyoga later. Once that done, just go to the right and another cut-scene (last one before a battle) will happen. Talk to Jacob and once this cut-scene is over, you’ll need to talk to Master Crystal to battle him.
Master Crystal: Choose to fight using Hyoga and just hold on until Crystal uses his special attack. Seiya will come to save you. Now Talk and use Diamond Dust. An event will be triggered and you’ll defeat him.
Another cut-scene you’ll also receive S17 Frozen Memories. Once its over, you can talk to the cross (block right to the flower) to receive Crystal Cards, which allow Summon Attack. That done, go to the left and after this cut-scene, and the Blue Warriors will appear!!! Talk to Alexei to fight him.
Alexei – Blue Warrior: Choose Aggressive and use Diamond Dust to trigger a conversation, after that, use Aurora Thunder Attack to trigger another. After that just let yourself to be defeated.
There will be a cut-scene that will tell you what’s going on. Once you saved and the scene is over, talk to Alexei to fight him once again.
Alexei: You can choose Hyoga use Cosmo expand and Diamond Dust and if Alexei uses his Spc Attack, you’ll be able to block it. So use Cosmo expand once again and Diamond Dust again to defeat him.
Talk to him again and Jacob will appear. Talk to Jacob and go find Natassia. Save her and go to the right.
Chapter 8: The Heated Battle of Gods
You begin playing always with Hyoga, go to the right and save the villager so you get the introduction for this chapter.
• Hyoga’s Path (only)
With Hyoga, the cutscene will change and you shall find Hyoga being challenged by Midgard. So talk to him and may the battle begin!
Midgard: There seems not to be any event against him which is very useful so choose aggressive stance and get rid of him with your strongest attacks.
Afterwards there will be another cutscene where we know what happens to Hyoga…
• Seiya’s and Hyoga’s Path
As the cutscene ends, you must choose which saint to leave behind (choose Shun if you want to follow the OVA) and after the other cut scene choose which saint to look for Hyoga (if u follow the OVA again, choose Shyriu). As you gain control, two screens to the right you find Kiki for some shopping and the left is your objective… by the way you got plenty of enemies here so it’s a good place to get your savings up before you meet Midgard.
Midgard: With Shyriu, lose the 1 st round and choose what you want to get on the 2nd round: Talk or Cosmo to receive nothing or Attack to get extra 2 SP with Shiryu.
Now you gain control of whoever was taking care of Saori. Follow your way till you reach a screen where you can either go left or right, going left you’ll find Freya, who will give you the side quest to kill all guards. Do so and meet her on the bridge to the north (and get any items you need from Kiki) so you may talk to Frey and receive S16: Odin’s Wrath.
Now back to the real objective: Ur, follow the path to the right, and in case you get stuck on a screen which you seem not to be able to get any further of, try the lower right corner, keep going until you find Ur, time for another battle.
Ur: Well I found him an opponent impossible to be beaten by, so there’s two options: get beaten by him and let Ikki come to finish him off; OR (and I prefer this one), kill with Shun and receive his Combination Attack with Ikki: Nebula Flame. There’s a short cut scene and Rung comes to party too!
Rung: Well I personally think he’s way harder than Ur, but nowhere close to a problem like Shaina was… Simply use your Genmaken and Talk to activate an event and he’s defeated. If you prefer to kill him without the event, you will have some struggle… and I mean A struggle…
With Seiya, Save and follow the path until you meet Loki.
Loki: Well another event battle so I’d advise you to choose Aggressive stance so it ends quicker… Talk twice, be careful not to get a low def since his attacks are pretty powerful… Anyway use Pegasus Ryu Sei Ken as soon as you can so you can defeat him (with couple more attacks) and obtain Soul Burn (again?!).
Now onto Dolbar!!
Dolbar: Well it’s the new boss! Yay! Anyway lets get this done once and for all then. The first round is impossible to win (unless you cheat somehow) and anyway its way better to watch the game to the end, so as soon as you can play again, just hold on until Dolbar makes a comment and you have 3 choices of answers. The first will increase Seiya’s Attack by 2, the second increases you HP by 5 and the third will increase your Cosmo by 250. choose any of them, at this point of the game you won’t have much time to test it, so lose this round soon after and Hyoga comes unto scene… Hyoga’s Turn: Well this is where it get interesting, Talk three times and, with a bit of good luck, you’ll get the chance of learning a new move for Hyoga, but I will keep this as a little secret until the next release.. hehehe.. Well you will definitely be defeated and get a cut scene where Seiya will use the Sagittarius Cloth to save the day again… Aiolos Saves the Day: Well it gets easy now doesn’t it? Cosmo Flare and Golden Ryu Sei Ken to defeat him.
Now I can say well done once again for having finished this patch. It took a while for me to finish this but I did my best to check on as many bugs I could find and inform Red. So we both hope next time the release will come out with a lot less bugs so we can all enjoy this game more and more… See ya on the next release! (or on the forum hehe).
